Prom Night Part Two

The Bill Sikes Aquarium is the city's largest purveyor of exotic aquatic life. As the aquatic counterpart of a zoo, the aquarium housed multiple large, medium and small-sized glass tanks containing hundreds of different species of aquatic plants, fish, invertebrates, amphibians and aquatic reptiles such as turtles, that have been grouped according to species selection and their non-aggression to each other.

Within the large building was also a large auditorium close to the entrance of the complex that is normally used for holding symposiums and other conferences, but for tonight, this auditorium was meant to serve as the venue for the Sienna Metro High Finalists' Prom. (Finalist = Final Year Students)

The auditorium had been prepared by the best event planners in the city and entering through its doors will give you the delusion that you had entered another world.

The ceiling was enveloped in a projection of stars, mimicking the night sky semi-perfectly. The multiple crystal chandeliers gave the auditorium a more dim but splendid ambience.

The entrance, all the way to the auditorium, was decorated with stylish tanks that had exotic fish within. Following the venue's lighting design, the fish swimming in the tanks appeared to be illuminated, giving the walkway a very romantic atmosphere; the perfect ambience for the night's programme.

The tables on the auditorium floor were arranged perfectly, leaving enough room at the center to serve as the dance floor.

The DJ's booth was set up on the north west corner of the room, the DJ already there and preparing all the requested songs for the night.

The caterers were well set up in their assigned corner in the auditorium with multiple options of appetizers and drinks. There were actual full meals prepared, to be served later in the night.

The entrance of the auditorium had received an upgrade of its very own. A long and sleek red carpet travelled from the gates all the way to the road.

Running alongside the wide red carpet were several 3D decor lights lighting up the entire stretch.

The hired cameramen were standing by ready to take as many pictures as possible when the finalists finally started arriving.

Standing ready by the end of the red carpet were several valets. Their duty this evening was to open the doors of the cars of the attendees and take over the duty of parking the car at the appropriate place. They stood in pairs in an orderly manner awaiting the first vehicle of the night.

The first car appeared at 6:15pm. It was a black Subaru with a sleek coating and tinted windows. The car stopped in front of the valets and they immediately took action.

One of the valet pairs walked up to the car, one to the passenger's door while the other walked over to the driver's door.

Opening both doors revealed McCollin in a stylish tuxedo with Karen, in an equally eye pleasing prom dress, as his date to the prom, sitting in the passenger's seat.

The valet who opened the door for McCollin handed him a small numbered card as identification for his car.

McCollin placed it in his inner pocket as he walked to the passenger side and helped Karen out of the car.

She smiled as she took his hand and left the comfort of the car. She then interlocked her arm around is as they proceeded to head up the red carpet.

Multiple expensive and inexpensive luxury cars arrived just as they started walking up the red carpet and the remaining valets quickly went into action mode, attending to each and every car as quickly as possible.

The cameras flashed as each and every couple walked up the red carpet. There were occasional stops with different backgrounds where each couple could take customized photos, along the red carpet.

Over the next thirty minutes, cars of different brands and models pulled up in front of the venue. There were cars with just one couple whilst there were others with multiple couples. Not everyone could afford the lavish lifestyle after all.

The couples walked up the red carpet, beaming with smiles in their luxury outfits; whether rented or purchased, amidst flashes from the cameras.

Upon finally entering the venue, they were shocked by the design of the place. Seeing the glowing fish at the entrance alone was enough to make their day, and they could not help but praise the Prom committee as well as wonder what else they'll see once completely inside the venue.

A commotion near the road drew the attention of the couples closer to the entrance and they all turned in curiosity.

Jaws fell as a black hummer limousine pulled up in front of the aquarium. The valets were so stunned that, they couldn't help but gawk at the vehicle. A strong and scary looking man exited from the driver's side and walked over to the passenger door.

Eyes were peeled as the observers tried to see who could afford such a giant spectacle.

The driver opened the door and the first face to emerge out of the vehicle stunned the entire crowd. Samuel came out of the vehicle looking even mor dashing than before.

Even the girls, who were currently there with dates, couldn't help but drool at his outstanding appearance. This infuriated their dates but of course, who could blame them.

Samuel held out his hand and helped Elizabeth out of the car. Her gorgeous appearance promptly reversed the situation.

Elizabeth and Samuel looked like the perfect couple; their levels of beauty were the perfect match. In their frustration, the envious girls couldn't help but nudge their enamored dates to draw their attentions

Samuel and Elizabeth interlocked arms as they walked up the red carpet amidst the flood of envious and awe-struck gazes as well as camera flashes.

The other finalists who shared their car followed them out of the limousine and up the red carpet. The group made sure to stop on each of the different backgrounds for a round of photo shots.

Satisfied with the welcome they received at the entrance of the venue; the group headed for the entrance to the aquarium, hand-in-hand with their dates.
