A Perfect Aggressor

A day after the meeting I went to the lower floor of my lab and it shows what we're about to do. "Ma'am it seems that our Test subject has been suffering major bone fractures on both his right arm and left leg. Also, we found some minor fractures too in his left arm and upper chest." I replied from the report from one of my assistants. "Call my mother and tell her that I need a right arm and a left leg and also tell her to use her strongest material we have." The test subject is alive and awake when

he heard them talking about him. "Hey, Miss Hailey. What's with the donation you're giving to me? So you saw my fractures... Tell me why are you doing this, I brought a group of men out to kill you and you're here actually helping me." I replied to the test subject. "Well... I'm a reasonable person I won't kill anyone that easy and I won't kill you. I'm doing this for you to help yourself as well as us." He replied. "What you're telling me to work for you? Why though?" I replied. "I want to know the

person who brought you here out to kill us." He replied. "Like what I've told you I don't know the person. I don't have a choice at that time. The mastermind killed my friend he sent me a video of him shooting him in the head. I can't trace the location of that video on where it came from. And they said that if I don't do it my family is next." I replied. "Sorry to hear about that but don't you worry my family will take care of your family everything from shelter to safety. I'm not forcing you here I'm giving you a choice. Help us to take down the mastermind of the attack or you can leave with no memory of us but your friend will be left unavenged. It's your choice..." He replied. "Well... If its the only way for me to help everyone I know then okay." I replied. "But first before we begin in your mission. You'll be needing some enhancements since you'll be our Perfect Aggressor. A One-man army as we like to say. That's one of the reasons why we're talking about your fractured bones. What's your name by the way?" He replied. "Porter Grieves, an ex-military soldier from the US." I raised an eyebrow from what I've heard about him. "So you have the skills, you need hardware to take advantage of those skills of yours. We're planning to enhance you with one of your government's abandoned military project. Project Arbiter... We'll enhance you with our spec of the perfect soldier. Strength, speed, vitality, and overall performance over normal soldiers."

Porter looks like he accepted the offer from aggression and his sheer anger towards our target. I mean the guy had it tough with this job from his family now under threat of an unknown person is just the worst. I wanna know too who is this bastard who wants me dead. "So when do my enhancements commence?" I replied. "Once your prosthetics are finished and after the serum for machining is done too so you have to prepare yourself get enough sleep and a balanced diet will benefit you the future one-man army of those who oppose you. So rest easy now, there's a whole new world for you to burn through." The test subject went to his room to rest. "Ma'am, what mixture should we use on the test subject?" I was asked by one of my assistants. I replied. "Execute MW-2340. Then we'll fine-tune it for him." The assistant replied. "Yes, Ma'am executing MW-2340," I replied. "I'll be at the communication room to talk to my Mother for the Prosthetics." The assistant replied. "Yes, Ma'am we will be waiting for your orders for the final mix." I left the development room and went to the communication room.

When I arrived in the communication room my Mother is already on the phone waiting for me. "Hailey dear is that you?" I replied "Yes, Mom this is Hailey speaking. How's the development of the Prosthetics Mom?" She replied. "Hailey was currently forging it to strength we used the prototype metal in the mold. I hope that man will be your greatest asset." I replied. "I mean the guy had it rough on his side. He was forced into doing that so we formed an agreement that we will enhance him using the leftover mixtures from the recently abandoned Project Arbiter. That he'll help us to find the bastard that threatened him into forcing to target me for the cure me and the other Plague Doctors are currently developing. The person has a huge grudge against our target since the bastard killed his loved ones live from his phone as a means to force him into working with the culprit. So I began developing a mixture from those leftovers and I asked you, Mom, to make me some custom Prosthetics for the guy since we found out that he is suffering in the bones that his right arm at any time can give out." Mother replied. "Okay, okay dear I'll make sure that the Prosthetics will be the best one for his application." Mom left the call and I started another call this time to my Brother. "Brother are you there?" He replied. "Yeah, Hailey? What's the call today?" I replied. "I got someone coming to you next week. He's one of my people, and he's gonna be there for you're medicine for further enhancement once we're done with the initial enhancement I'll call you to let you know. Okay?" He replied. "So, is that all? Anything else?" I replied. "Can you provide him also some equipment that he'll be using. Thanks a lot, Nath." He replied. "No problem, just helping a sibling out." I ended the phone call after that and began to pick the right amount of classified medicine specifically made to make humans into walking bio-weapons. But I'm not gonna overdo it I'm just putting the right amount of medicine for this mixture to work with his body structure. After that I let the mixture settle in for three days before the operation.

3 days later...

"Ma'am the patient is ready for operating. The Prosthetics are here, should we begin now Ma'am?" Tom said to me as I walk inside the operating room. "We'll begin the operation. Patient #336427, Name: Porter Grieves, Enhancement operation is a go." The operation lasted for four and a half hours. The patient seems to have a very stiff body, to begin with, that cost us some time but it's well worth it. The patient didn't flinch at least once and that surprised us, I guess Mr. Grieves here had gone through this a lot in the past and it shows from his treated organs that he had a lot of painful injuries in the past. Time passes and the room is quiet and the only audible sound is the tools we're using in this operation. Everyone is focused and accurate since we're doing the Perfect Soldier phase one of the conversion is about to finish. While we're cleaning up the remaining mess we have after the operation. Porter woke up and said. "Hey, Doc... This feels serious like nothing happen and this is my new arm and leg? They feel unusually natural for me to control them." I replied. "We specifically spec'd them to your arm and leg weight and your carrying potential now is possibly 4 tons. Why? Because you'll be carrying lots of guns since you're the only guy that possibly will battle a whole army if the culprit has one." Porter replied. "4 Tons huh? But the question is how and where do both of my prosthetics getting power?" I replied. "We embedded you an Energy Core called APEX. Or what we call Advance Power Experience System. It's an adaptive energy core that powers itself from organic energy or such as movement, your heart activity, and your brain activity. This system is currently the fourth version of it so it had some more improvement over the 3rd version, such as a lighter and more compact design, an improvement in the efficiency of regenerative energy from before, and our best add to this version a secondary heart mode." He replied. "Secondary Heart mode what is that?" I replied. "Well imagine that you suddenly got a heart attack or you got shot in the heart. APEX detects this and acts as a secondary heart or it can be used as a pocket defibrillator if the heart suddenly stops for some reason. To treat that damaged heart the APEX can release some

special cells that can replicate a muscle that will repair the damage as long as the heart has at least 15% left on it that includes the vessels. So if someone rips your heart out for whatever reason APEX will make you a new one with a stronger material than before, now that's, in theory, we haven't tested it but we did external testing and indeed it works but we don't know yet if it works on humans." He replied. "So I can return to life if I die from gun wounds?" I replied. "Theoretically... Yes, it's possible. But you need to be transferred to my Brother's laboratory to continue the enhancement on your body and He'll give you the equipment you'll be needing for our search." He replied. "What can I say but thanks. I never would have thought that the pain in my right arm would just disappear one day and the numbness of left also disappeared. Now that I think about it, I think I can never repay you anymore since you've given me this overkill stuff for one mam, one tool at your disposal to eradicate this culprit out of this world." I replied. "Well, I always make sure that I give my patients the best medicine they can get. Now, follow me you have a tram to catch up." He replied. "Your Brother... He's Johnathan Kirkstoic right?" I replied. "Yes, why?" He replied. "Nothing just a name I use to hear around during my military service."
