God is dead: Part 1

"We, as a team ask you to apologize Stephen, for this move shall be our emancipating move and shall make records straight"

Stephen announced during the round table discussion of the shelter cooperation.

"Why it would be only me who would get apologetic with Stephen. He should be called here and he should be negotiated here for goodness." Ellen gave a strong argument. She went to Stephen and black mailed him only because these people asked her to do so. Otherwise, she knew what law has for the people who verbally assault others.

"look Ellen, we understand your feelings, we are sorry at your loss but we cannot do anything to help you except this. Joseph said on behalf of everyone.

Ellen said " apologizing Stephen would be equal to get in to lion's den.everybody knows that Stephen has not abducted my girl because he wanted to see me ashamed in front of him. He abducted her because he wanted to show this cooperation that it's not sufficiently protecting people and it's has not kept its promise of giving security to the every member."

This vague argument made everyone in the room frowned. They just didn't like it to get blamed .

One of them said "Now Ellen in her fury would blame all of us."

" am not blaming anyone at all, I am just saying the way we had decided to get Stephen, it was collective decision. But you are asking me to do such bizzare act because now my child has got to do something with it."

One of the member said " I had not been expecting such bad analytical approach from you Ellen, of course we are concerned as team and we are sending you out there because we think you are our part. And we are never going to betray you on this regard."

Joseph saw Ellen in affirmation and there she kept quiet. Meeting soon ended and Ellen started preparation for the night meeting with Stephen. She never liked this exploitation, neither she wanted to be th part of it but Joseph said "progressive brains do such petty things to out speed the ordinary people. You may not think that values are the chains in your feet they are something you need to be freed from"

Ellen sat in her cabin. She was sitting straight, her hands were pinching the hair of her head. She was at dead end. Apologizing Stephen means to do what he wanted her to do. Anything within the limit or beyond the limit.

She spent too much time thinking about it but nothing came in to her mind. She accepted her defeat. She accepted the way she was being treated and she accepted the fate as every girl revolving around the story. She went in to her bag. She drew out the pills from it, took one and sat back to relax. She did not want to think anything at all. She sat there. She wanted one thing, fleeing from the reality.

Ellen asked herself in her dreams" why would she sacrifice her family for something that was not even her. Why did she want power outside the house. Why she didn't cherish the freedom, love and compassion inside the house. She asked it again and again and nobody replied."

One day she came to Joseph and she asked him that why we are praying to our devil and why we are not seeking our help from any sort of God.

he replied that you know Ellen God is dead. And devil is alive because he does not give a false hope to the people."

" You know the people, these poor, perplexed and tiny people, why do they pray to God ? why do they like him? because they like the way he would grant them ease and pleasure."

"At least devil does not give false hopes. He says that world is a hopeless place and you need to be careful. And he also says that" you need to get on your own, I'm not helping you but I would stay side by side." This is the difference between God and devil himself. Because you see daredevil in his eyes."
