Lu Residence.

Lu Cheng leaves Tang Xi in their room and comes to his study room. He calls Feng 'Why isn't he picking the call?'.

Tang Xi walks out of their room sneakily and goes downstairs to collect the rings from Aunt Song. As she felt restless without seeing them. She was so excited to see the couple rings.

She stops seeing Tianxian coming out from a room and hides absent-minded.

Tianxian instructs some men seriously. Tang Xi smacks her head 'Why am I hiding from him?! Stupid me!'.

She is about to step out but stops hearing Tianxian.

"I will inform when Miss would be at sleep. You guys have to empty the room within an hour time before she wakes up".

The men nods and goes out. Tianxian calls Lu Cheng and informs.

After ending the call he walks out of home.

Tang Xi is lost in her own thinking world 'In my absence?'.

She looks at the room and the study room. 'The room only had the paintings-'.

Her thoughts froze for a moment. 'Those paintings...'.

She walks towards the room filled with fearful thoughts. She looks at the paintings were not in their places and gets anxious. 'Did I lose them!?'.

She looks the cupboard and opens it. She sighs relaxed as the paintings were removed from their frames and kept rolled.

She looks back at the door worriedly and gets thinking 'What is he hiding from me? What's in here?! I will find them today'.

She unrolls every painting and starts looking them with creased brows. After each paintings her face is becoming so desolate. She starts taking the paintings desperately as she couldn't control her anxiety.

Tang Xi takes out a file which was hidden in the cupboard and drops it by mistake.

The file opens while falling and the photographs in the file gets scattered all over the room. Tang Xi gasps shocked and kneels down hurriedly to take them.

She picks a photo and frowns 'Han Rouxi?....With Feng?'.

She looks at other pictures slowly and takes them one by one slowly. She felt as if she knows nothing about Lu Cheng now...Not even a percent!.

While taking last few photographs, she couldn't control her emotions and bites her lip. 'So you were pretending ? Even after what we have faced before? You didn't learn your lesson, did you?'.

She felt her cheeks drenched by the running tears already and humps wiping the tears 'Why should I cry now?! I would make you pay for what you had done for me!'.

She throws everything into the cupboard and slams it hard closing.

She gets out from the room dejected and looks around the house sadly. 'I thought I would be happy...'.

She laughs at herself 'Do I only deserve his betrayal? He lied that she was a surrogate! He also lied that she was dead! Why did he do this?! Previously he justified that he was scared for Jing's condition! What now?!'.

Aunt Song comes whispering "Young Miss! ".

Tang Xi wipes the tears from her face alertly and stands without turning back.

Aunt Song stuffs a box in her hands "Young Master is in study room. Go! Hide this somewhere!".

Tang Xi smiles hurtfully "Where would I hide this?". 'Just where would I hide this face of mine?! I have been fooling continuously!'.

Aunt Song sees Tang Xi standing lost in thoughts and smiles "Miss! Hurry! Its time to have lunch! So Young Master would be here any time!".

Saying so, she goes away hurriedly.

Meanwhile, Tang Xi looks at the box and opens it gloomily.

Destined to be mine....

Looking at words imprinted on the ring, she closes it instantly and walks towards their room. She stops at the door and gets her hand back from the doorknob.

She felt haunted by the previous memories and steps back from the room. 'Everything would have been fine, if I stepped away from this room! I was so lost in my fantasy world that I never tried to wake from this dream!'.

She looks at the door for a last time and smiles bitterly 'I am not in dreams anymore Mr.Lu'.

Tang Xi walks towards Jing's room and grits her teeth controlling her tears 'No one can replace you baby!'.

She opens the door and looks around the room. She closes the door and sits leaning to the door.

Lu Cheng is surfing some websites about the pregnancy complications. After every website, his fear would increase drastically as he couldn't take seeing her in hurt. After reading those articles, his head starts to throb and curses himself for 'making' her to face all these.

He looks at the time and sits suddenly as if he remembered to do something. He walks out of the room and opens their room happily. He looks around the room and smiles 'She should be eating her lunch by now'.

He runs downstairs and stumbles seeing the dining table empty.

Aunt Song comes with the dishes and informs "Miss asked to send her lunch upstairs".

He frowns "But she is not in the room".

Aunt Song too frowns "But she called me just now".

Lu Cheng turns to go upstairs but stops seeing Tang Xi coming down.

Tang Xi stares at Lu Cheng 'Wow! He is so desperate ...for what?'.

Lu Cheng smiles "Where were you?".

Tang Xi smiles meaningfully "In dreams till last minute".

He laughs "You are sleeping a lot".

Seeing him coming towards her, she controls her every ounce to not step back. 'If he is so good at pretending, then why should I fear him? Last time I was scared to lose Jing. But not this time. I too will see how long you would pretend'.

Lu Cheng makes her to sit and starts having his lunch.

Tang Xi notices Lu Cheng's every actions and loses her appetite. She takes a glass of juice and stands "I will eat later. I am not feeling hungry".

Aunt Song asks shocked "Miss! How could you not eat anything? You should have some at right time. Its not-".

Tang Xi rolls her eyes "Aunt Song...I won't die if I skip a single meal now !".

Lu Cheng growls "Tang Xi!".
