After seeing that everyone had calmed down, Isabella then started explaining more about the basics of the 'chosen' and the 'contenders'.

According to her, both the 'chosen' and the 'contenders' fundamentally follow the same ranking, which is based on their mastery over the professions.

And the ranking is done mostly based on the level of their understanding and expertise over their professional and skills.

She also told us even though the 'contenders' don't have the system-like interface, their ranks can be still gauged using the help of an artifact called

'Status Card'

This 'Status Card' is a card-like artifact that can act as both identification and tester for the 'contenders'.

It can record both information and skills of the 'contenders', and upgrade both their rank and all the skills as their proficiency over the profession and skills improves.

Both the 'chosen' and the 'contenders' start their ranks as nonprofessionals which are called the 'Candidate rank ' and 'Novice rank'

-for the 'chosen' it's the first 10 levels ( level 1-10) are

considered as their 'Candidate' rank.

-As for the 'contenders', since they don't have

system levels they are gauged by their level of

body refining using mana in the 'Novice' ranking.

And also, During the 'Candidate' rank, the 'Chosen' are unable to increase their levels by hunting monsters.

Because during the 'Candidate' rank they have to choose a future path and complete the daily quests of the profession and fulfill the requirements to earn the 'EXP' increase their levels.

This wasn't the only reason, during their 'Candidate rank' the 'chosen' are not strong as the monsters who are born at the level of 'Warrior' and the Gods don't want their 'chosen' candidates to die even before their journey start.

And for the 'chosen' to upgrade from 'Candidate' ranks and step into the 'Warrior' ranks (the next rank after the 'Candidate' ranks) they have to complete a 'Rank up' mission to officially become a 'chosen'.

Only after completing the 'Rank up' missions for the profession, do they get promoted from the 'Chosen Candidate' into the next ranks that are 'Chosen Warrior' ranks.

As for the 'contenders', they moreover have to go through the same procedure as the ' chosen'.

But they don't have to do daily quests but their rank up is calculated by their mana core formation and knowledge of the profession.

During novice rank, they have to refine their bodies with mana and improve their body's ability to communicate with the World's mana.

Unlike the 'chosen' who can rank up by completing missions the 'contenders' have to learn and accumulate knowledge and improve their proficiency to increase their ranks in the 'status panel' of their 'Status cards'.

Unlike the Novice or Candidate rank, Isabella didn't explain much about the ranks of Warrior or its leveling up requirements.

She seems to have even held back a few or more basic information on both the 'chosen' and the 'contenders'.

But she did say that the rankings for both 'chosen' and 'contenders' are divided as grades and stages in the 'Warrior ranks'.

Instead of explaining she just told us about the names and ranks of both of them. It's called 'stages' and 'grades' of the Warrior rank for both the 'contenders' and the 'chosen'.

As for the rank above Warrior or any information or anything related to the topic about it Isabella simply refused to answer.

So for the time being the Rank above Warriors is a complete mystery for us.

Just like that, the remaining days before the awakening went by without even anyone realizing it.

After the revelation, the entire class was filled with excitement and the next two days were the most active day classes have ever seen in my entire life.

Everyone seems to be so excited about the awakening, even the pea-brains, and delinquents of our school, who started asking doubts in the class.

Some people ( including me) even visited the library to know more about this world. Only to have our bubbles burst due to being unable to understand their language.

According to Isabella once we awaken has the

'chosen' we will receive a title as 'Otherwolders'.

Which will provide us with the passive to understand and community with the people of Orenda.

Only then did I realize, why couldn't understand the gibberish of the maid.

As for Isabella and the high priestess, they both seem to have some kind of skill or a title that allows them to communicate with others without a language barrier.

With my luck, I know that I have to be more prepared than anyone else to face any situations that are thrown at me.

Even though the possibility of an otherworlder not being chosen is 'Zero'.

We are talking about 'me' here, so we don't know what will happen.

And I didn't want to bet on chances or to give up on a wonderful opportunity to know more about the 'contenders'.

Other than that, I also wanted to know more about this world its geography and its inhabitants, and about their magic.

Plus, I don't truly believe in any of the folks from fantasia, yeah that including Isabelle.

Because anyone can be an enemy in disguise or they may not be enemy themselves but may have spies admits them.

Also, I don't want that to be my reason for being caught off guard.

Besides, the ritual performed by the 'Church of Dark Hours' was based on the magic from this world.

And the Last and final point is I want to know whether I can use the same magic used by the 'Church of Dark Hours' to get back to Earth.

If that isn't possible I want to be prepared to confront them in any required situation that is feasible for me to utilize and obliterate them.

Since they could use magic and we have traveled to this world using their 'ritual' it's a given that they are from this world and our clash with them is inevitable.

So I need to know more about them, the world, and as much information as possible that includes about the 'contenders' and their weaknesses.

I don't want to face them unprepared in any situation because I want to make them pay for what they have done to me and most of all for shattering my mother's dream.

Thus I took it upon myself to understand the language of the Fantasians with the help of any books that had similarities with anything from Earth.

At first, I wasn't able to find any resemblance between this world language and Earth's languages

But soon with a lot of effort, I found old records which had a resemblance to earth's Ancient Latin and Hebrew.

You may want to know how I can understand ancient Latin and Hebrew?

it's not just them I have more knowledge of many such languages because during my early ages my only way of time pass was reading old books at a library near my house.

And with their help, I soon start coming up with many different ways to utilize Latin and Hebrew I know to understand the words in the language of Fantasia.

With so many tasks in hand and challenges to face I was working hard to improve both my health and knowledge.

Not only was I improving my knowledge, but I was constantly improving my health as well.

As for my health, by now it has been a week since we got Isekaied to his World and with help of mana-rich fruits and the fresh air my pale and malnutrition complex and build had completely changed.

I have also gained a sufficient amount of weight for the past few days.

The transformation wasn't that great but from bony and skinny, I have become slim and lean.

Even my skin which had been pale now had started having little vibrancy in them.

Soon the day of awakening came and everyone was gathered in front of the 'Academy'. Almost all of my classmates were nervous but not me because I have already planned my path.

And the awakening ceremony is just a step on my way towards the achievement of my goals.

I have a gut feeling that after this awakening ceremony, I'm sure that my life on Fantasia won't remain simple.

The new chapter of my life is about to begin
