Nick bore with the agony he felt for an entire day before the effects of the pill wore off. spending a few hours acclimating to the slight disharmony in his body nick noted that the pill had refined around five percent of this body which was fairly good considering how hard it is to affect his flesh after he ascended. it should be pointed out that the pill was meant to be used in concert with the refinement technique rather than by itself like what he just did. nick then refined the other two pill recipes which both turned out fairly well with the healing pills having three pills a batch in the mid tribulation area and the cultivation pills having only a single pill that was at the seven tribulation level. this didn't surprise nick since it was common to have different amounts of pills when refining them at his level. nick tested the cultivation pill first since the healing pill could only be used when seriously injured and it was quite hard to do so for him. the cultivation pill increased his progress speed by around twenty percent for three days which was phenomenal at his level leaving him with no complaints.

Nick then spent the next few months pushing his cultivation bases even further with the help of his new pills and at the end of this time some changes had occurred. nick reached the ascendant lord tier with thirty one percent of his spiritual impurities removed while his body refinement had reached the peak of the low tier for the silver level. this meant that nick had managed to just barely excavate enough of his bloodline to learn the trait that he vaguely felt before. this trait left nick speechless due to how frankly unreasonable it was , basically when activated nick could enter a state of temporary invulnerability by blending into the laws of heaven and earth with his body. when nick did this a bright golden light diffused from his body giving him the look of extreme holiness.
