Chapter Seventy

"Explain why I am here?" The demon Lord's deep baritone voice traveled across the open layout office space.

The entire floor was silent. Damien Weston rarely made an appearance but he expected nothing but perfection. Majority of their meetings and decisions were made by email or video conferences. He was not a fan of physical contact nor wasting his time. 

The presence of the owner of the company put everyone at the edge of their seats. He was here for a reason, that meant someone didn't get something done. That meant the Lord was not happy. A mistake occurred, one great enough to pull him into the office.

"Yes, my Lord right away."

The assistant rubbed his sweaty palms together. Damien's gaze slid down his fidgeting form. The assistant froze then set his hands down and nodded.

"The natural resource deal has fallen through-"
