"I thought you would like that; you already kissed me after all," she commented out of nowhere and placed her forefinger on her lips, teasing the demon in front.

However, Zeno just smirked and didn't bother to reply. He resumed his steps and left the two beings behind.

Sinclair and Ruq looked at each other without saying a word. The Apostle of Justice was still holding her weapon, ready to strike or defend at any point in time, while the place where the revenant was standing turned frozen and was expanding after every second that passed.
