Chapter 6: What Does it Mean

Leylin, the demon assigned to watch her, came in the morning, passing off breakfast and a uniform, porridge and a plain black dress, telling her to get ready.

Stone cold was the first thing to come to mind upon meeting her. Elanor wanted to ask some questions, but she knew that she had burned through a lot of patience already, so she took what was offered and did as ordered.

It wasn’t too different from being in the human army, there were always orders to follow and things to do. First time she was taking orders from a demon though.

Elanor had a feeling she was going to be experiencing a lot of unwanted firsts now.

Leylin was nothing and everything that Elanor had been expecting of the demon assigned to her.

A pretty demon with crimson eyes and silvery blonde hair that was pulled into a severe bun and sharpened her already dangerous gaze. Full lips and a pair of black horns sticking out of her head and it left Elanor guessing about Leylin’s character.
