The Golden Invitation
"My Lady, someone came here to see you," informed Azazel as Roxana and Damian arrived at the manor.
Roxana frowned, then cast her eyes toward the manor. "Is she still waiting for me?"
Azazel nodded. "Yes, she is waiting for you."
Roxana did not question Azazel about the woman's identity. However, based on the horse carriage waiting in front of the manor, she was certain that the person was from the Black Tower.
"Damian, help me change my dress," asked Roxana.
She couldn't possibly wear her shabby clothes to meet her guest. Her pride would definitely be tarnished if she did that.
Damian clapped his hands twice, and then a red glow enveloped Roxana's body. Her modest dress turned into a luxurious silk gown in an instant. The color of her hair and eyes had also returned to normal, so she no longer exuded the aura of a commoner.
"Where is she?" asked Roxana to Azazel.
"Lamia brought her to the garden behind the manor."
