"Don't be too quick to pick that sword. I can still run, let's have a chat."

But Mira didn't heed the advice and unsheathed it saying

"I don't talk with demons."

"What demon... you say demon this demon that. If you attack right off the bat how are we even going to settle the misunderstanding?"

Kryll spoke again hoping to negotiate with her.

"Speak"

Mira gave the permission while still warily observing him.

"You see, I might be a half demon-"

Before Kryll finished, Mira attacked right away. It was common knowledge that a half demon was more dangerous than a full blood demon.

The only thing in her mind now was to kill the guy in front of him.

"You do know I can come and go freely right? If you don't agree to my terms I'll start creating havoc. "

"You might be able to handle me but not everyone is as strong as you are. So listen to my suggestion first!"

Kryll continued on shouting as he continued dodging the strikes.

While none of her attack reached him.

He only managed to dodge it always at minute distance and so the slightest bit of carelessness was enough for her to graze him real bad.

The exchange continue on when suddenly Kryll sensed an existence stronger than the Essence realm.

When this figure appeared everything was silent, Mira also knelt down respectfully to her "Master, I'm sorry I couldn't finish him myself."

Seeing this, Kryll knew he had done an unthinkable mistake of his life. He couldn't scold himself enough in his mind now.

He was doomed, he couldn't even think anymore.

"Hey young man, you seem like one with a lot of potential. Tell me what was the purpose of coming to this city. If you tell me, I'll give you a quick dead."

Kryll knew she could do it. He breathed in slowly and bowed

"I have no ulterior motives for coming to this city. I have two human cultivators as my disciples. As a half demon I understand I couldn't mingle here hence I decided to let them settle in the city while I go look for my master."

Mira looked at him with murderous intent. She was hellbent on killing him but her master was here, so she didn't dare to act rashly.

Xu ling, Mira's master, looked at her determination and spoke slowly.

"I've sealed the space within a kilometer radius. Fight to your hearts content."

Saying so she disappeared, as soon as the command was given Mira attacked.

She didn't hesitate to use her strongest strike as soon as the fight begin.

As the space was sealed, Kryll activated the golden shield and also ate a Strengthening pill he refined. And he even spread out formation flags around the battlefield.

Mira wasn't some normal cultivator. He had to take her on seriously.

Even if he was to die, he wanted to give it his all. If fate allows, he was ready to take down Mira along with him.

He knew he would be killed either way, win or lose.
