Chapter 11: Learn to forgive than to forget

~Flashback~

Beatrice let go of Crisanto and wiped away her tears. "Thank you." She said, thanking Crisanto all of a sudden, making Crisanto confused. "Why are you thanking me? I just did the one that friends will do to their friend because you are my friend." Crisanto responded.

Beatrice look down to her lap and started playing with the hospital blanket. "I was thanking you for being my friend and being there for me even thought you and me hadn't known each other for long, but you're still by my side, and for that, I wanted to thank you." She stated, Crisanto smiled. "And I'm also sorry for dragging you into my mess, it was because I had a fight with my dad that time, who just got back and scolded me." Beatrice finished.

Crisanto grabbed Beatrice chin and make her look in his eyes, and for some reason, both of their heartbeats quickened. "I'm also thankful that you become my friend Beatrice, and I think your dad just need some time to think, just give him a chance."

Both of there faces came closer and closer, as their heartbeat quicken even more. Neither of them stopped each other as they closed their eyes, but as they're lips about to touch each other the room's door opened making the both of them immediately separate from each other and acted like nothing happened, except that the both of them had a blushing faces.

"Ahh… Ms. Finley your awake, your body miraculously healed quicker than we have expected. So you are going to be discharged today, though for safe precautions, we would like you to come back here for check-ups on every weekends." The doctor who comes in informed, who thankfully didn't noticed the awkward atmosphere.

Crisanto coughed to make Beatrice snap out of her trance as the doctor was waiting for her reply. "U-uhh, r-right, thank you." The doctor sighed and nod, when the doctor walked out of the door, Beatrice and Crisanto breathed in relief, the both of them didn't know that they were holding their breath for that long.

"Well, I got to go no-" Before Crisanto could walked out, Beatrice pulled his hand, making him fall on top of her and kissed him, causing his eyes to widen in surprise but eventually melted into the kiss.

~End of flashback~

"I just don't want to lose you at an early age, and let you miss out all the fun and experiences in school, and also some things that people at your age do." Edward explained as Beatrice listened.

"As for the one you said, I didn't go and see or make out to other woman Beatrice, I was working there so I can afford of the expenses of the hospital, and I was also finding some evidences of who were involved of that incident in the past." He continued, Beatrice look at her father in shock.

"D-dad…" Her eyes started to water as her tears fall down, her father signaled her to stop talking and let him continue first. Beatrice wiped her tears as she continue to listen. "I know… I know I should have told you the whole details so I am very sorry for not telling you this sooner… it's just that, you were still too young that time to understand and I don't want you to spend all of your time by helping me instead of focusing in your studies." Her father finished.

Beatrice smiled and said. "It's fine… I understand now, but that doesn't mean I forgive you! You still had a lot of things to catch up to me so I can completely accept your apology!" she exclaimed making her father chuckle.

'And I should probably go to the mafia headquarters and talk to boss about something.' She added in her thoughts as she remembered the kiss and also that Crisanto was hers first kiss.

She bit her lip as she blushed. 'I'm so stupid! Why did I do that?!' She yelled in her mind, then all of a sudden she touched her lip. 'His lip is soft though, I don't mind kis- Beatrice! What were you thinking?! You don't even know if Crisanto also liked the kiss! Nor does he even like you!' She said as she was having a debate of her inner self, thought she doesn't know that Crisanto was also thinking about the kiss that happened in the hospital.

'Her lip was so soft, and that was my first kiss too, I wonder if that kiss meant anything about her feelings…' Crisanto thought, as he parked his bike beside his house.

He was the only one living in his house, the house was especially his, her parents bought it just for him so he could settle in and won't be transferring in different schools anymore, as his mother was in abroad while his father stayed in the Philippines because of their own business there.

Mostly, Crisanto spent his time doing school stuff but his mind just couldn't think straight after what happened, so he went to the kitchen and grabbed a bottle full of water.

Meanwhile in the school that Crisanto and Beatrice was enrolled, two people sneaked in and went to the abandoned office that no one are allowed to enter, one is a boy the other is a girl.

As they opened the door, they were confronted by a lot of Beatrice's pictures on the wall. "Just a little longer my love and you will be mine." The boy said in glee, the girl sat on the desk and swing her feet back and forth.

"You will have her, I'm sure of it big brother. Your much better than that jerk, Crisanto anyway." She giggled, her brother smirked. "That's right, but I need your help to distract that boy out of her sight as you were going to lure her to me." The boy stated.

The girl hopped down from the table. "You can count on your lovely and cute sister big brother." The girl said as she grinned towards him. "Perfect. I can already feel our success of getting her. Isn't she just pretty?" He stated.

"Yes, she's very pretty big brother, you really are excellent when choosing girls." She giggled as her brother look at Beatrice stolen pic with obsession.
