General Winter

Exu wakes up to the morning light and tries to get off the bench only to see Blake resting her head on her lap making Exu sigh. She took her scroll out and started reading a book waiting for Blake to wake up.

"mmm? Good morning..." Blake yawned and scratched her belly.

"Morning..." Exu glances at Blake and goes back to reading.

"You might want to get changed... Looking like an assassin from last night isn't going to do you any favors... Coco... She will try to kill you... If she finds you here at school..." Blake grimaces at the mere thought of a fight between Exu and Coco.

Blake isn't concerned for Exu's safety but is more scared of how far Exu will go to mentally torment Coco if they did fight. Exu isn't just powerful she will mess with your mind until your break and only then will she deal the finishing blow... Blake has seen what happens when Exu makes a fight personal... It isn't enough to just give a swift death... She mentally torments the person until their mind breaks.

"Let her come... She will regret provoking me..." Exu says in an ice-cold voice.

'Please don't make this personal Exusiai... She just lost her mom... She doesn't need any more emotional torment... please don't turn into Adam...' Blake scoots away from Exu.

Blake can see that Exu is the embodiment of Darkness while Adam is an embodiment of Spite... Blake can tell that Exu still has good in her despite drowning herself in death and destruction...

'She may be dark... But when I look at her when she thinks she is all alone... All I see is a deep sadness filled with an equal amount of loneliness...' Blake gives a side glance at Exu who is staring off into the distance with a blank look on her face.

"I don't care if people see me like this... It will deter them from doing anything stupid... Coco... Will be a problem... But if she knows what's good for her... She won't do anything while in Beacon... No one can change who I am... Not even you..." Exu's eyes had this darkness to them that Blake could swear is just a poison waiting to seep into her soul.

'Am I wrong to think I can change her? Is she too far gone? Am I... am I not good enough for her? I thought... I thought we shared a special moment before Ironwood showed up... Was it just all in my head?' Blake's ears flatten with tears threatening to fall down her face.

Blake looks at Exusiai's retreating back and sees that Exusiai is in a lot of pain... Pain that can't be washed away... It won't ever go away. Pain that she can't understand.

"Well, that could have gone better... Young love is a precious thing... But you must never try to change the one you love... You must accept them even with all of their faults..." Ozpin sips his coffee.

"Forgive me Professor Ozpin... But you don't seem like a person who knows anything about romance..." Blake of course can't get a proper read on this man.

"I see... I suppose I'm not an excellent role model when it comes to love... But I assure you... I have been in your shoes before" Ozpin sighs.

"...Sapphire is... I really like her... But she doesn't seem to feel the same way... I thought she was always hinting that she felt that way about me but I guess she didn't mean it in that way..." Blake sulks.

"She is... A troubled girl... You cannot comprehend the depths of her pain... So instead... You should be the shoulder she can lean on... Who knows... Maybe it will blossom into true love... I've seen plenty of miracles and I know that young Sapphire isn't all bad... My only advice is don't stick to her like glue..." Ozpin walks away.

Exu leaves a note in team RWBYS's room with her goodbyes.

'It's easier this way... I can vanish into the thin air... I can still attend classes but... I won't have to be anywhere near them...' Exu packs up her things and stuffs them into her duffle bag.

Exu rents an Apartment close to Beacon so that she won't have to be late for classes. Exusiai has a bad habit of self-inflicted isolation. She thinks it's easier to cut her losses and become alone when in reality she is only inflicting herself with more loneliness.

"Sapphire! Wait up! Hey, stop! let's go out!" Ruby rushes after Exu/Sapphire

"No thank you..." Exu continues walking.

"No, seriously I have something to talk to you about!"

"Oh that is awful..." Exu vanishes.

"What is wrong with her!?" Yang explodes.

Later the next day...

"Oh, that is not good..." Exu looks up at the Atlesian war fleet up in the air and grimaces.

"Why is that?" Winter Schnee the new General zeroes in on Exu.

"It's going to attract Grimm sooner or later... All this is going to do is cause needless fear... It's a display of dominance... No one will feel safe now... When people look up they won't feel safe contrary to what you Atlas folks think... Their only questions will be what are we being protected from? Which will later turn into fearful thoughts attracting the Grimm... So like I said... This is not good..." Exu glares at the warships.

'Not to mention this was not within our predictions... It will actually make things harder now... We all assumed they would be too busy with their civil war to pay attention to any other part of Remnant... Operation Infiltrate Mothership will start in three days... I can't have anything going wrong...' Exu seethes.

"They should feel safe, not fearful..." Winter narrows her gaze at Exu who is in disguise.

"You... You are starting to become way too similar to your previous general which is going to be your downfall I will cheer on the resistance if what you are doing now is anything to go on..." Exu vanishes into thin air.

"How dare Y- What... Where did that brat go?" Winter looks in all directions.
