Way off in the expanse, Damian sighted an enormous brown old shack, a dark silo, and half a dozen simple dwellings of witches, created in a circle. Behind the farm was a massive wilderness. It looked like a tiny agricultural commonhold with room for twenty or twenty-five people at the most.

"This wasn't what I'd expected." He believed the witch cavern would be more densely inhabited. Anda rolled her eyes as she looked at the two gun-holster patrols, who whirled their heads their way and were on the lookout for intruders. She saw the patrol's men had stashed their daggers in their pants ready to take action if needed. However, Anda couldn't hide her almost naked body either, Damian tried to hide his wings, but earned him a scowl from the two patrols.

"Damian, don't bother; they're not just humans; they can see your true form, and they despise demons, so don't be surprised by the unwanted greetings."
