Chapter 49: Acting Spoiled
Upon hearing that Albert Brown's grandfather was ill and hospitalized, Mother Sanchez started packing without any hesitation.
"Coincidentally, we've also had our fill of fun. Grandfather Brown is ill, and he must be very sad, you should go back and accompany him!"
Amelia Sanchez hugged Mother Sanchez from behind, "Mum, you're so kind!"
Mother Sanchez scolded her: "You're such a grown-up, stop acting spoilt!"
"Mum, you have to promise me one thing."
Mother Sanchez bent down to fold clothes, "You say."
"After you go back, don't return home immediately, stay at my place..."
Before she could finish, Mother Sanchez started shaking her head, "I should go back, I haven't been home for days, who knows how that father-daughter duo is eating."
After more than a decade with Father Lincoln, Mother Sanchez understood the pair very well; they were utterly helpless when it comes to living independently.
