Anne was worried about seeing Kendra like this.

Kendra smiled and nodded. She had some porridge and asked confusedly. "It is strange. I just looked at the mirror and found there is a scar around my neck. How did this happen?"

Hearing Kendra's words, a strange look came over Anne's face immediately. She felt restless and looked away.

Kendra seemed to notice something and asked, "Ann, what's up?"

"Miss Miller, I don't know if I should tell you something." Anne hesitated. She was not sure if she should say that.

"It's fine. What is it?" Kendra tried to convince Anne.

"Your scar is…." Anne almost told Kendra the truth.

"You can get out now." Lendon suddenly appeared that startled them.

Anne was scared as she turned around to look at Lendon.

Lendon glanced at Anne and walked to Kendra.

Anne stood up immediately and left. "Why are you so rude to Anne?" Kendra frowned and asked unhappily.

"Should I bow to her? She is just a servant." Lendon said coldly.
