It was late evening, and the atmosphere was buzzing with anticipation in Alisha's department. Alisha had texted Zeriel earlier, asking him to come to the meeting room in her department. She anxiously glanced at her phone every minute, hoping for a response or text from him.
Finally, a message popped up from Zeriel, saying that he was on her floor. Alisha turned to her team members and motioned for them to get ready. The place was earlier decorated with balloons, and a brightly colored write-up on the wall which read, "Happy Birthday CEO Zeriel!" On the round table in the center of the room was a beautifully decorated cake, drinks, wines, and a buffet of delicious food.
