Shimmer’s intrusion
Alisha arrived at Zeriel's office building with a racing heart. She could hardly contain her excitement at the thought of surprising him with her delicious meal. As she made her way up to his floor, she couldn't help but feel a sense of nervousness.
It had been a while since she had prepared something special for someone, and she hoped that Zeriel would appreciate her gesture. When she entered his office, Alisha was surprised to find Zeriel completely engrossed in his work. He barely glanced at her as he continued clicking away on his keyboard.
Alisha cleared her throat, trying to grab his attention. "What brings you here, Alisha?" Zeriel asked, his eyes fixed on the computer screen.
"I brought you food," Alisha replied, a smile tugging at her lips.
"I figured you haven't eaten yet." She said.
