Preparatory launch meeting

As Alisha entered her small kitchen in the morning before preparing for work, she couldn't help but think about how hectic the past week had been for Zeriel.

He had been working tirelessly, burning the midnight oil to meet some important deadlines. Alisha had noticed how he would often close so late from work, looking weary and exhausted.

She knew that he had been neglecting his own needs, and she wanted to do something special for him to show her gratitude for all that he had done for her. Determined to make a delicious meal that would warm Zeriel's heart, she scanned her kitchen shelves for the necessary ingredients. She had always enjoyed cooking aside from the art of perfume making.

If she hadn't worked as a perfumer she would probably own a restaurant. She knew what it was like to be comforted by a home-cooked meal after a long and taxing day.
