My boss is jealous

As the event came to an end, Zeriel and Logan bid their VIP guests and business associates farewell. The sweet smell of success lingered in the air. Zeriel couldn't help but feel a tinge of pride for the successful launch of Sweet Elixir, but his emotions were quickly overshadowed by something else.

Out of the corner of his eye, Zeriel caught a glimpse of Alisha laughing with one of the male guests who seemed to be exchanging contact with her. Instantly his heart sank as jealousy washed over him. He couldn't pay attention to the ongoing conversation any longer, uneasiness and anger washed over his face. He quickly excused himself, leaving Logan to handle the guest, and made his way towards Alisha's direction.

Logan couldn't help but smirk as he saw the jealousy written all over Zeriel's face. He knew that his friend had feelings for Alisha, but Zeriel was yet to act on them. Logan hoped that this encounter would be the push Zeriel needed to finally make a move.
