A fun day at the movies.

Alisha and Maddie were sitting in a corner of the cinema, chatting and waiting for Ryan to come back with their movie tickets.

Just as they were chatting, Alisha's phone vibrated. It was a text from Zeriel.

"It's a text from Zeriel," she said, waving the phone.

"What did it say?" Maddie asked, her eyes lighting up with curiosity and anticipation. Alisha smiled and read the text out loudly to Maddie, "I'd like us to meet up and discuss", the text read.

Maddie advised her to ignore the text and give Zeriel a hard time. "Trust me," Maddie added.

Alisha nodded and kept her phone aside, she began narrating her encounter with Zeriel earlier and how he offered to take her out for dinner but she declined to meet up with Ryan.

Maddie couldn't hold her laughter. "Serves him right, I believe he now understands the pain you felt when he chose shimmers food over yours" she said. "Now he should be able to understand the pain of rejection.
