The battle has just started

It was dark everywhere, totally dark and silent

'Ouch' I could feel something burning hot being poured on my hand.

"Damn, am I in hell or something?" I murmured.

"Oh she is awake" A joker looking like man said. I could have felt my energy and strength coming back. I opened my eyes, and I wished that I had kept them close itself.

I was in the middle of a the central surrounded by people or dark entities, A Joker, The Queen of Spade and another women in red gown surrounded by blood was there. Warm red hot wax was thrown on my hand, though I believe it was ritual which help me regain my consciousness and strength.

"Serena" I heard a shout. All my friends were tied. I saw into Adrian eyes, he looked at saying like, 'I told you to be out of troubles, why don't u ever listen.' I felt relieve seeing Jared and James. I smiled at Jared, he looked really unhappy probably think, 'oh damn I wasn't able to protect her.' Audrey had freaked out at next extend and Alan was trying her to keep her calm. Tony was crying like a little baby- though I don't blame him, anyone would have cried. Dino was somehow trying to keep his calm probably thinking that this all might be a dream.

The women in red holded me by my chin, "You girl we have literally done so much to regain your consciousness and give you energy, Now you better hand over the book to us." She said looking straight to my eyes. I wasn't scared this time. I had gone through alot of paranormal activities and stuff that I fucking fear no one at this point.

I had a bad urge to say, 'No I will never hand you the book' but I resisted myself and just stick to silence but I didn't cut off the eye contact. I looked at her proudly.

"Hmmm you idiot-" The women in said and was about to hit me.

"Serena" Alan screamed

"Wait" Someone stopped her and holded her hand. "I have better plans, bring him up" The queen of Spade Said with an evil smile and sparky eyes.

"BRING HIM UP" She shouted and someone from crowd went and brought Professor Hernandez pulling from leg.

"Uncle-" Both Adrian and Alan shouted from the top of the lungs.

'Oh damn not him- not Professor, they are go so dirty and bring Professor in such thing.'

"Oh my darling, you had spark and courage in her eyes few minutes all faded now? By seeing your favorite Professor in trouble? You have no clue whom you are messing me orelse not just you all your loves one will suffer." The joker said gigglingly.

"Keep them away from this" I shouted.

"See we won't any of you all, you just have to give me the Curse book" The women in Red said.

"I really don't know how can't I sense the book around" Joker said wondering.

'One good thing that I did was not bringing up the book with me instead keeping in the tent using the protective cover that Maria had given so that no one could sensed it' I thought to myself in a relief.

"We don't have time to waste- Give us the book right now " The joker said.

I was clearly Quiet not knowing what to do.

"Okay the girl won't listen that way." The queen of Spade Said and literally took her long nails out amd started moving forward towards Professor Hernandez.

"Noooooo" I screamed.

"Serena just fucking give the book to them" Audrey screamed in tears

"No-" Alan objected

"Serena, Don't tell them anything. They might take the book and then kill us all." Professor Hernandez said

My respect for Professor Hernandez has grown so much that day. He looked tough from outside but from inside he was so much selfless and a loving hunan being.

The Queen was about to stretch Professor Hernandez face with her long poisonous nails

"STOP, I will tell you about the book." I said with tears in my face.

'No responsibility is important than protecting someone's life. I had already lost my uncle Benjamin and now I couldn't have afford to make Alan lose his uncle because of me. I'm sorry but I have no other option. Protecting Professor Hernandez is my first priority."

"The Book is---" As I was about to complete.

*BOOM*

Someone jumped on the floor, with dust surrounded as she entered. She had covered her face with a hoodie cap.

"The Battle Has just Started." She laughed.
