Psychic?

'Please don't be a witch, please don't be a witch.' I was praying to God that Maria doesn't tell me she is a witch.

Maria looked at my expression and laughed.

"Are you thinking is she a witch or something?"

"No, no nothing like tht" I said hurriedly

"But are you one?" I asked suspiciously hoping it's a no.

"Yes" she said with a serious expression.

And then she busted up laughing ad she saw me getting serious

"I was just kidding" she said as she laughed.

"No Maria, enough of jokes. How did you know I was thinking about that. Who on earth are you?" I asked

"A psychic" she said

"Who? what?" I asked

"I'm psychic, my dear not a witch." She said calmly.

"What a psychic" I asked because I serious had no idea about the topic.

"Well well, see human eyes can detect only few colors but animals can see more than that, they can feel up the warning from nature and stuff." She said

"Yeah" I agreed

"Just because we human can't see certain things doesn't mean certain things doesn't exist they do exist only human cannot see those. But psychic can." Maria said

I nodded trying to understand a thing or two

"Every human has born up with psychic strength, but because of career tension or family tension or wherever, no one pays attention to their psychic abilities as people grow older they lose it." She said

"So basically psychic are the people who can see the supernatural?"

"Yeah somewhere like that but not all psychic can see, some can hear, some can feel and there is alot more to this." Maria said

"What sought of psychic are you?" I asked her curiously

She laughed again

"I'm more like a person who can sense up things, I come to know whether things are gonna be good or bad, I can do feel supernatural around and can also hear their talks at times. But as I'm young and inexperienced, I haven't developed my skills to that extent." She said

I looked at her surprisingly.

"What other abilities do you have?" Like you went to the portals and stuff." I asked

"Well well, I can feel up energies, whether it's a sense of sadness or happiness in both living and the dead ones. You were close to my heart and also in a soul form so it was easy to communicate with you. As per Going in other Timeline it was the first time I ever did that. Yes I had learnt a thing or two from Grandmom Netli...." Maria was interrupted again

"Is she a psychic too?" I asked

"Absolutely, one of the greatest psychic of all time. You have no idea how she helped so many souls who were stuck on this planet. She is my biggest inspiration and she has crossed up border of time and space many a time." She said

"Maria did you cross up the portal just for me?" I holded her hand and looked at her.

"Not just for you, the entire universe. If the book falls in the wrong hands. God knows what's gonna happen." Maria said

"Thank you so much" I said as I hugged her "I can't thank you enough for risking your own life to save mine"

"Chill" Maria said

"My intuition and my psychic strength both tells me that you are the only one who can stop things from happening my dear."

I simply nodded digesting up alot of things

"But what did Grandma Netli wanted to say and why did you stop her?" I asked

She lower her gaze and said in a soft voice, "the journey that we have started is not gonna be a peice of cake. It gonna be full of inconvenience and unrest. No one knows who will survive till this end of the journey and who won't. She wanted us all to backoff but if we didn't fight then the most world will go in the mouth of destruction."

"What are you even saying? Is it gonna that destructive?" I asked in shock

"I don't know, but it's not going to be easy as we are going to deal with the dead as well as the alive ones who are no less than demons." She said having a serious eye contact.

I broke the eye contact.

"Then I won't get you all involved" I said "I will fight this on my own."

"No you won't be able to survive then, you need us and we need you. Maybe then being together we can find out a way to destroy the entire curse book and to survive. Don't worry we still have hope." She said as she hugged me

After little bit of chit chat, I said bye to Mr and Mrs Harrison and hugged little Oshwin and Grandma Netli

I whispered in Grandma Netli ears, "No matter what happens, I won't let anything happen to Maria."

"I have faith on you my child, that you will bring peace and happiness on this planet."

"So we are meeting tomorrow." Maria asked

"Yes" I replied

"Okay take care and enjoy your date." She said

"Huh- what date?" She asked

She simply laughed.
