Chapter A

I was in a world where everything was going round and round as if I was going to get hypnotized.

I opened my eyes somehow in Alan arms. Who was just looking at me the whole time. As he saw me regaining my consciousness, he shouted, "Serena"

As soon as I woke up, he went for a wild hug.

"Serena, thank God you are fineee. I thought we lost you and stuff. Oh my God, God grace that you are safe." Alan started crying like a baby. I had never saw Alan like this, so vulnerable, so caring before.

"Alan, leave me I'm out of my breathe." I said.

He left me and was embarrassed, he was blushing too.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to-" He was trying to make up something for this awkward situation.

"No worries, it's completely fine." I said.

Suddenly the rain stopped pouring. The fog started fading away.

"Serena-Alan" Maria screamed and rushed towards us. Micheal came behind her. The four of us hugged eachother tightly, the way the players hugged after a victory. This wasn't actually mess than a victory to be honest. No one knew if we would survive a minute ago but now we are here, all safe and sound.

Suddenly I noticed a book in my hand.

I read, "The Curse book, part 1, chapter A"

"Bruh" Micheal screamed

"Wasn't it supposed to be a road map that we were supposed to find here taking us to the curse book? How did we find the curse book? And what Is chapter A." Alan asked

We all had a huge question mark on our faces.

"It was raining so heavily, almost a hurricane and how is it so that the book isn't even a little wet." I asked

Everyone was shocked after realizing the book wasn't well at all.

Maria starting looking up in the sky, trying to figure up something. I was about to open the book to read what's next.

Maria screamed, "No Serena, Don't you dare read it. " Everyone was stunned by Maria sudden voice. I didn't question anything and kept the book aside.

"We have no idea, what's there in this book and if read it anything can happen, someone might get possessed or we might free up some unknown souls. We have no idea how much power this book hold so let's not risk up things. And as per chapter A, I think part 1 is divided into further more parts. As there were three hints on the paper, I assume that there is chapter A, B and C." Maria said everything in a breathe.

"Yeah" I agreed.

"How do you so much Maria?" Micheal asked. Even I had that question. I had to have one and one chat with her to know who Maria really was.

"I assumed up things, we don't have time to waste, let's go and find the others. They must be waiting." Maria said and started walking straight.

"Can you walk Serena or you need me to hold you up?" Micheal asked.  I gaved him up a shark look.

"I can walk on my own." I said with pride, got up on my own feet and started walking.
