Chapter 68 Warmth.

Zhavia woke up to the soothing sunlight on her skin. Her eyes were still closed as she stretched.  It was a warm caress and she started to wonder if she was still dreaming because there was this feeling attached to this magical warmth on her skin. 

She slowly opened her eyes as she sat up suddenly feeling like stretching a little more. She knew she hadn't been the stretchy fan but a different kind of exercise shouldn't be a bad idea. Normally, she would run for two hours nonstop but she wanted to try something different and new.

Yoga wouldn't be a bad idea.

She stood up and walked to the balcony as the warmth hit her even harder this time. This time, the feeling was inevitable. She wanted to feel everything the morning brought. It was indeed blissful as she followed where the breeze led her and the posture she felt was soothing. She was happy. For the first time in a long time, she felt happiness. Her breaths were steady and slow.

Nature is indeed a miracle.

All the excitement she didn't know she had started surfacing. She felt alive again. She started to wonder what else the day had installed for her as the knock on the door called her off the incredible bliss.

"Good morning miss McKay, I trust you see....." Sofia trailed off her own words when she saw her boss for the first time in her career in a posture she couldn't even imagine.

"Woah, you are incredible miss McKay". Her eyes couldn't believe what they saw. She was dressed up to break the emergency news to zhavia but the sight in front of her was breathtaking. She didn't even want to spoil this blissful moment because she felt like she also needed it too.

She was surprisingly carried away but quickly realized herself. She had to do what was right, after all, it is her job to tell zhavia the inevitable.

"Um, miss McKay, an emergency just popped up. The German investors called that they will be arriving shortly and your presence will be needed". Sofia blurted.

Zhavia stopped what she was doing as her mood returned to its default setting.

"I will not accommodate any German investor in my house". Her words were fierce but her voice was calm.

"I thought of that miss McKay, that is why I booked a reservation in the best hotel. The conference room will be arranged before the investors arrive".

Sofia was already prepared for whatever excuse zhavia tried to bring up. It was about time they got this job done once and for all without postponing it.

"Is that so?"  Zhavia asked walking towards the bathroom. She was also tired of postponing meetings. She also wanted to get this over with.

"Yes, miss McKay". There was a smile on Sofia's face as she responded. She thought that convincing zhavia would be a problem but luckily for her, her beautiful boss was in a good mood. She was thankful that she didn't have to go through the stress of having problems with zhavia.

"Let's get ready then, get out". Sofia chuckled as she started walking out of the room.

"I'll be waiting then". As long as zhavia is happy, she is also happy too.

She exited the room with a smile on her face.
