"Cathy get the dishes"Hailey screamed her sister's name as she set up the dinning table while Cathy brought the dishes setting them on the table as she now placed both her hands on her hips a satisfied smile playing on her lips.

"Am I not just awesome?"Cathy praised herself knowing that she must have cooked the foods well.

she had volunteered to be the one to cook for them this morning as a welcome back treat."don't be so happy about your little victory.who knows,it might only last for a few minutes"Hailey smirked believing that no one could cook better than her.

"You know,if we were in the palace we would have been stuffing our faces with rich mackerel by now"Dylan's voice came from behind them as he jumped on one of the chairs present.

"Your jokes are horrible"Cathy said dishing his food out to his plate.dylan grabbed his fork digging inside the porridge she had prepared and as he put it in his mouth,it was the same way he had quickly spit it out on the table.

"God!! Who cooked this horrible meal"Dylan remarked making an horrified face.

"What do you mean horrible"Cathy frowned and she could hear Hailey laugh which annoyed her. "Never step foot in the kitchen for the rest of your life again…urrrh"Dylan said still making a face as he dropped the fork on the table.

"Dylan be nice"their mothers voice came from behind them as she also took a seat followed by their father who patted Cathy's back before sitting.

Cathy smiled knowing fully well her parents won't judge her wrongly as she also dished out their food to their plate watching as they also took the fork to their mouth only for them to end up also spitting it out.

"Jesus Cathy!"Mr rain exclaimed using his thumb to clean off his mouth wanting to push the food away but on seeing Cathy's frown he forcefully let out a smile.

"Mmmmm it's delicious.who knew our daughter was such a great chef right Mona?"mr rain turned to mona who also forcefully nodded.

"I think we can all agree that am the best"Hailey said who still continued to laugh while Cathy could only frown.had she not done it right? No one liked her food!

"You should be ashamed of yourself"Dylan added clicking his tongue as he now used his hand to push his hair back. "I think I might have forgotten to brush I'll be right back"Mona said as she quickly stood up and left the dinning table.while Mr rain who noticed his wife had found a way to escape tried cracking his brain to think of an excuse.

"You can go"Cathy said forcing out the words and she saw her father immediately get up."thank you"he said as he dashed out.

"Eat your food by yourself witch"Dylan smirked before he also got up and left leaving Hailey and herself alone In the dinning room. "Wait! Is that tears I see in your eyes?"Hailey teased poking her sister's nose who shook her hand off.

Knock!!knock!!

Someone knocked on their front door to have the two abruptly turn to look at each other.they were not expecting any visitors at this time.

Cathy gulped down hoping it wasn't the person she was thinking of as she watched Hailey go to open the door only to see a blonde guy who held a bunch of flowers in his hands,his face beaming with smile.

Cathy breathed out relieved it wasn't the person that was on her mind earlier. "Perry?"Hailey called out, her face looking displeased as she stared at the young man who kept smiling at her like a young lamb.

Cathy rushed to where Hailey was offering perry a smile who returned it back to her.

"Oh perry! You know we were just talking about you"Cathy remarked to have her sister turn to her with a sharp glare.

"Really?"perry asked innocently now showing off his teeth with a smile. "Our fates must be connected then hailey.here! I brought flowers for you"the guy named perry said now stretching his hands out for Hailey to collect the red rose flower.

Hailey looked at the flower then at perry who still had his hand streched and a frustrated sigh escaped her lips.although perry was no doubt one of the richest men's sons in their village she didn't want any sort of relationship with the man.it was just not what she was looking for.

"Am sorry perry but you and your flower can go to hell"Hailey said as she immediately shut the door at his face.

"Ah!! I almost forgot you are only interested in wealthy men"Cathy said with a teasing smile and she got a knock from Hailey instead.

"Ouuuu"Cathy cried holding her reddened forehead. "Atleast I didn't reject a proposal from the king"

"I think you are forgetting that am still 19"Cathy retorted back at her sister's words not liking the way she had brought up the matter again.that was what she had done the previous night too.disturbing her and not allowing her to have a sound sleep as all she could talk about was how she had decided to throw such an opportunity away.

"Almost 20….is that your excuse or you are just so blind you forgot the benefit of having to marry the almighty king Ronald.or are you forgetting he owns this very land we stand on!"Hailey stated her face temporarily looking up at the ceiling in mesmerization as how a single person could own such a large city.

"What are you getting at?"Cathy rolled her eyes and before Hailey could say another word she was quick to keep her shut. "I am going over to Marie's house.she will freak out to see that am back"

"I hope a lion eats you on your way"Hailey remarked before turning to leave to her room.cathy pursed her lips opening the entrance door and stepping outside.

She stopped just at the second stairs. as she looked around her.she watched as people moved to and fro getting to their business and a smile came to play on her lips.

It has been long though! Since she last saw her best friend transform and she was all in for it right now.marie wasn't human and when she had found out about it,it was really hard to believe as she had not heard or seen anything like it.she had thought it to be creepy when the girl had revealed to her what she was but not until she had seen her transform.

She had never seen anything like it. So beautiful and captivating and yet still enticing.she wondered how something could be all those things at a time.

Taking deep breaths in and out,Cathy moved her feet towards a right turn.she still had a few more grounds to cover but she didn't mind it.
