Unexpected lady

Five days have passed since that incident from the East Block assassination. Guards still doesn't know who did this, but they do not care about it at all. Only the inmates on East Block have started to launch small attacks on the possible suspects who are Lenard and Angela because there were a few prisoners who saw them going to the Throne room, and being the last one to see the King alive. Lenard has gained a few attacks, but the most recent one was yesterday at the shower when two prisoners from East Block were very close to rape him there, but he escaped quickly thanks to Rodriguez who knocked out those two bastards. Lenard was thankful to Rodriguez once again, and he thanked him by giving him a few dollars, even though Rodriguez refused, but he had to accept it only to put those moneys back into Lenard pants while he was sleeping.

When Lenard was on the Cafeteria, he got surprised to see that a guard came to his table where is eating together with Abou and Rodriguez. Rodriguez was trying to ask the guard what is the reason for this unexpected call, but the guard was only focussing on Lenard who get off his seat, and he takes the lead to the Visiting Room. He and the guard leaves the Cafeteria, and when it did, Abou and Rodriguez are talking about this unexpected situation.

"Do you think he got caught?"

"I-I don't know." says Rodriguez, who now knows the situation Lenard was in. "Let's hope they will not be this tough to the man."

"... Does Lenard have friends from outside?"

"Yes. He once told me about a guy named Albert who is a good friend with Lenard. Maybe it is him again."

"Ah. I see." says Abou. Then, those two proceed to eat their lunch in silence.

On the door in the room designed to be the Visiting Room, two people are entering the building. Those two people are Lenard and the guard who escorted him. The guard goes to the wall, and he proceeds to wait five minutes until the conversation will be over, like always. He told Lenard to go to the seat No. 2, and when he saw who was on the other side, this made him surprised. The person on the other side of the glass it is a woman who is having a ponytail by the color blonde, wears a suit only detectives are wearing, a pair of glasses, and she is holding a folder in both of her hands.

"Hello!" says Lenard when he got to the seat he was instructed to go and took the phone to talk with the person on the other side.

"Hello, Lenard!" says the female detective, taking the phone to speaks to Lenard, who is on the other side. "You probably do not know me, right?"

"No clue. But how do you know my name?"

"I did some digging. Now. Let's begin the introduction." she opens the drawer and puts in there the folder, then she sends it to Lenard. "My name is Detective Carmen. And I am here because one of your friend wanted to see you freed. The folder I have handed to you contains a folder which shows the pictures taken by the security cameras from that location."

Lenard opens the folder, and is overwhelmed by the fact that there are about ten pictures from different directions at different time of "him" robbing the bank in the middle of the night, without a ski-mask or a backup. All being done by himself. He is speechless by this, but before he was about to say to Carmen that he is innocent, she sent to him a picture of a few guys who might resemble his face and appearance.

"Those are possible suspects I have found so far."

"I-I am innocent." says Lenard after he took three seconds look at the picture Carmen handed to him. "I-I didn't rob the bank."

"Then, tell me. Where you were on the night when the robbing was happening?"

"I... I was at my home. Watching TV and eating cheese chips."

"What were you watching at TV?"

"Um... I think it was a rerun of Breaking Bad to Nostalgia TV."

"... Hm... Okay. You might say the truth, but I cannot believe a word you say since I have a lot of evidence in that folder who shows you, being the one who robbed the bank... But I might try to see if I do find something that might help me in this case."

"Two more minutes." says a guard to Carmen side.

"Would you like to hand me that folder again? Together with suspects pictures?"

"Sure." says Lenard putting the pictures back into the folder, together with the picture of possible suspects, he puts them into the drawer, and he pushes the drawer to Carmen side.

"Thank you." says Carmen, taking the documents from and putting them into her bag. "Look. Before the conversation will be stopped, could let me go into your house and investigate the things from there?"

"Go on. I would probably not even be able to go back there if I stay here for more than five years."

"Don't worry. I will try any way I could to make your sentence shorter. It will be tough here. But it is worth a shot."

Then, Carmen put the phone back to where it belongs, and she leaves the Visiting Room. Then, Lenard does the same, but he is escorted to his cell by the same guard who escorted to this Visiting Area to talk with this mysterious detective.

He got back to his cell, and there he saw Rodriguez, who goes to Lenard. He started to ask him what was happening there, and who was the person which he was talking at the Visiting Room.

"The person was not a man, it was women who I was talking to. The girl was named Carmen, I think."

"Carmen?!" he asked Rodriguez surprised. "A girl with a ponytail?"

"Yes. You know her?"

"Do I know her?... It is a long story, Lenard. A very long story and a complicated one."

"I have to send here about five years, so I've got time." says Lenard, going to sit on the metal chair from their desk.

"You see. I got arrested for growing weed and trying to sell it outside this island... It was a hard thing to do, even though the idea of this mission was entirely of my said "best friend" who shot me before we were about to become rich. Then, there has come this lady named Carmen, who stayed there and waited for the moment to either catch me, or that traitor... Or both of us. The woman was kind to me while I was in the Prison Hospital to recover. She even gave me food from her home, which was heaven considering the food here." he laughs at this, then he proceeds to continue his story. "She also tried to free a few times, but it was useless. I am one hundred percentage guilty of the things I have done to Ruby City."

"Rodriguez..."

Then, out of nowhere, a guy from North Block appears on the gates of the cell where Lenard and Rodriguez are living. He demands some crack, but before he could've said something, Rodriguez has quickly yelled at him, which made the inmate to run away from our cell like a kid with dog phobia has seen the biggest dog from his neighborhood for the first time. Then, Rodriguez turns around to Lenard, who proceeded to say to him.

"Should I trust Carmen?"

"With all of your heart." he says before he left the cell and head into the yard to do some sport there.
