The cries of a child

She stood atop the railings, her hair dancing to the rhythm of the cold chilly breeze, her eyes cold stared at nothing but everything wondering if she could be saved. But did she want to be saved? Did she need saving? She brought herself forward to feel the burns from those who wanted her to feel nothing but unquenchable pain. "It seems to me you do not like your head firm on your neck" He tolted his neck to look at the short fat man with beads of sweat that caressed his neck. The man's hand still remained wounded around her shoulder.

Chapter one

She stood at the railings her feet barely on the thin rod, her hair danced alongside her wavering thin body that was steadily being caressed by the boisterous wind. Her eyes scanned the busy road below; cars moved on without any care, people trodded the roads like they had there hearts in their hands, their voices ringing into her ears without mercy, she was hyperaware of everything and nothing seemed to escape her sight.

In a once busy cafe, a woman dusted her apron, her eye brimming with pride, her effort would never be in vain, she tried very hard to be where she was now, nothing could fill her heart but joy and gladness.

She knew somewhere in the world that at this moment at which she was in despair and buried alive in her death, someone somewhere was happy in fact joyful to death.

She rubbed her hands clean with a napkin she held in her hands, few walks to turning off the light and on her way to her home, something caught her eyes, holding her from moving further from her intended goal. Swiftly but surely she turned sharply to the direction of her eye line, she watched totally strucked to the ground, her feet stayed rooted to the terrace floor unaligned to the voice that screamed at her to run.

Her thin hand was suddenly tugged backward before she felt her body falling towards the floor and not in the way she had expected; of course she knew she was going to end it but that sweet and meticulously planned event had been obstructed by some busybody.

With these thoughts spiralling in her small head she couldn't ignore the pain that ate slowly through her weak body, neither could she ignore the feeling of a hand that was wrapped firmly around her thin waist and the grunt that came from the owner's.

"What do you think you are doing?" A woman's voice demanded from across the tiny woman.

"What did it look like?" Her reply came back rather nonchalantly as her eyes seemed to be taking in the beauty of the well lit sitting room; the grey colored couch sat beautifully with niagara colored pillows spread on each of the couches, the fireplace spreading warmth and giving strength to the light that was hidden and buried in the furnace of fire and terrible darkness.

"Give me a number to reach your family" The beautiful peppered and salted woman said from opposite her reached to the phone that sat on the table.

"I don't have a family" She whispered lookimg at her to see that the light that illuminated from the phone shone brightly in her eyes giving her the sweet beauty of her so ever green eyes.

"Any friends?" She asked quickly getting a hold of herself, the shock in her eyes and the face that was once morphed with shock was completely wiped away with nothin left but a small smile on her lively red lips.

"None"

"Then i guess no place to stay either" She smiled a full blown smile.

"So sweetheart you staying here, welcome to my abode" She swung her hands by her sides showing off the house.

This was a change; acceptance.
