I-island (1)

"I still can't believe you've talked me into this..." I laminated as I talked to Aizawa on my phone.

"You're there as a representative of UA and its students," Aizawa commented.

"I'm a glorified chaperone," I shouted back as I looked behind me at all the students that came with me.

.

Due to various reasons, mainly being tricked again, I was chaperoning students that were invited to I-island. Those are Ochaco, Momo, Jiro, Denki, Mineta, Ida, Kirishima, Bakugo, and Todoroki. I sighed, knowing that three of them would be troublemakers while the rest would be on their best behavior. I knew for a fact that the girls, Ida, Kirishima, and Todoroki would be kind and respectful. But it was Denki, Mineta, and Bakugo that had me worried. Two were massive perverts and one had an explosive ego.

.

"I would rather be hunting down some of my marks," I grumbled to Aizawa.

"Your 'marks' don't have any evidence against them right now," Aizawa told me which irked me. "Besides, you were the only one that was free to go there."

"What about Allmight?" I asked.

"He is already on his way there with Midoriya as his second," Aizawa told me, causing me to swear. "Language, and don't worry, the students know how to behave."

"I have two perverts and one with an explosive ego," I deadpanned.

"They're your problem."

.

After that, Aizawa hung up on me. I felt my forehead throb as I'm pretty sure I had a vein bulge. I just counted to ten and breathed in and out. This was going to be a long visit.

.

"Welcome!" A representative of I-island greeted us after we landed and got through security. "You must be the ones from UA." She said as she held out her hand.

"That we are," I greeted and shook the offered hand. "I'm Courier Six and these are my students."

.

I introduced the students one after another, each of them nodding their heads at their names. The representative named herself, Akira, and then lead us to our hotel. As we walked, the students took in the sights. I, however, quietly rearmed myself as security wouldn't let me go through with weapons so I just stored them in my [Pip-boy] before going through. Why it worked, I don't know.

Though as we walked, I couldn't help but notice how happy everyone we saw was. It was almost idyllic. From the smiling faces to how friendly everyone was.

I felt sick seeing it.

No matter how nice it was, I knew there was darkness waiting around every corner. It didn't help that I was feeling woozy. Not from the flight or anything, but from being on a man-made island. My head and memories were driving me mad.

But I suppressed myself the best I could and went along with the rep.

.

About thirty minutes later we were at our hotel. And once the students and I got the keys to our rooms, Akira left us. I sighed, now that she was gone, I could rest. But fate had other plans for me. Momo wanted to take Ochaco and Jiro out to eat which wasn't a problem. Shoto and Ida had to go to Endeavor and The Ida family agency respectively, not a problem. Kirishima and Bakugo were invited to a competition, again, not a problem. It was Denki and Mineta who were here as part-timers for a cafe who were the problem.

I could trust the rest not to be a nuisance but those two worried me. Mineta was a massive pervert that would hit on anything that looked female. Granted, Denki wasn't as bad, but he was still a pervert.

After some deliberation, I decided to just say fuck it and let them go do their things. Call me irresponsible, but I could care less right now. Because right now, I needed to get my mind back together. But I did warn them to be on their best behavior.

After that, I sent them off.

Twenty minutes.

That's all I got before I had to go deal with one of my students.

And surprisingly, it was Denki. Apparently, when he was asked to show off his quirk, he discharged it randomly. The ending result caused a few street lights to blow out.

By the time I got there, Ida had already fixed the lights and Jiro was guarding Denki as he sat on his heels. Once I got the situation from Ida who had seen everything, I patted Jiro on her shoulder and took over watching Denki. The troublemaker didn't even look my way, just down at the dirt under my boots.

.

"Oi, look up," I ordered Denki to look up at me. "Now," But he was intent on staring at the dirt on my boots, "It's either me or I leave you in the hands of Jiro here." As I said that, he flinched.

"I wanted..." He spoke up before mumbling the rest.

"Jiro?" I asked and she raised her earjacks, readying them to strike Denki.

"I wanted to look cool," Denki said hurriedly and I just sighed with Jiro.

"Your job?" I asked, not wanting to deal with this.

"I start in thirty minutes." He answered.

"Get going, before I do something I regret." I sighed, and as Denki stood and turned around, I put my boot on his back and shoved. "And don't be late!"

.

After he stumbled, he took off in a dead sprint. Jiro sighed and muttered something before walking away. Ida had already taken off when I arrived. And so, I had nothing to do except to either go back to the hotel or wander until night when the party was happening.

It sucked that I couldn't just dump this onto one of the kids, but being the adult here, I had to be the responsible one. I couldn't even drink during this. The damn place has a prohibition ban on alcohol.

.

Ten minutes later, I found Midoriya with a blonde. The two of them adamantly chatting away. If I didn't know any better, I would have thought those two were a couple. I mentally shrugged and walked over to the two, seeing as I had nothing to do.

.

"Hey, Midoriya!" I called to the two, "Whose your girlfriend?" That got the two to blush when they saw me.

"Six! I didn't know you were gonna be here." Midoriya managed to get out after he sputtered.

"I'm here as the rep for UA," I answered as I looked at the blonde. She looked about 16-17 with wavy blonde hair and aqua eyes, as well as being rather well-developed for her age.

"Oh, this is Melissa Sheild." Midoriya introduced the blushing blonde. "Melissa, this is Courier Six. He's a teacher at UA."

"Hello..." She mumbled, I could tell what I said got to her a bit.

"Just call me Six. It's what I go by," I spoke to her then turned towards Midoriya. "By the way, a few of your classmates are here as well, be sure to greet them when or if you see them. The rest will be arriving shortly, in an hour or two."

"Thanks for the heads up!" Midoriya said.

"Um...," Melissa spoke up, "C-can I get your autograph?"

"Huh?" I said o so elegantly.

"I heard you were a quirkless Hero," She explained quickly. "We quirkless don't get a lot of spotlight in the hero field. We usually get told off for trying to help." I saw where she was going with this.

"I don't do autographs," I said before pulling something out of my [Pip-boy]. "But here," I said as I flicked what I took out to her.

"Huh," She said as she caught it, "A broken poker chip?" She asked as she looked at the item I gave her.

"Not just any, a few of them saved my life before," I told her as I began to walk away. "Now, you have one of them," I stated as I waved goodbye to them.

.

Little did I know, that she would be the founder of my fan club and that poker chip would be worth millions.

.

I still can't believe they won't let me wear my armor. Heroes with permits only, what a bunch of bullshit. But, one that I could easily get around.

As I walked around, I couldn't help but marvel at how... pretentious everyone was acting. It was like I was back in the Mojave during one of the big meetings I held once a year. Everyone acted like they were better than everyone and had their noses up in the air.

At least the food was good. A little bland for my taste but it was good.

I sighed when I hear that Allmight was gonna make a speech, or from what I gathered, forced into making one. Thank you for coming and all that. Honestly, I did so many of them I just zoned out and let my body be on autopilot during the whole thing.

Until the security alarm sounded and restrained all the heroes, except for me. I guess it was due to me not being in costume so I got looked over. As the guests were starting to panic, I just quietly armed myself with two [10mm Pistol+]s and got to the door.

As I suspected, as I reached the doors, they were shoved open and a group of masked individuals armed came pouring in.

Or that would have been the case if I hadn't been expecting that.

I opened fire as soon as the doors banged open. [VATS]'s being one hell of an opening move as I picked them off before leaving the one I assumed to be the ringleader last alive. He pissed himself when he saw me there, aiming at him with a slight glare in my eyes.

.

"Wh-who are you?" He asked me.

"A simple courier," I replied as I shot his knees out from under him.

.

As he screamed in pain, I walked up and kicked him unconscious. With him dealt with, I made my way over to Allmight after stowing away my arms. The people parted the way for me as I walked, fear prevalent in their eyes.

.

"Hey, AllMight, you good?" I asked as I crouched down and spoke to the man.

"I'm bound up and can't break free." He deadpanned

"Some people enjoy that kind of thing," I commented as I pulled a knife out and got to work trying to get him freed.

"I know that, we work with Midnight, remember?" He sarcastically asked me. "Any luck?" He sighed.

"Nothing, whatever this is made of can't be cut easily," I said before I stored the knife away before rummaging through my [Pip-boy] for something to cut it with.

"It's made of graphene," A blond-haired man spoke up.

"Dave! Are you okay?" AllMight asked as he wiggled a bit.

"I'm fine, AllMight. Thanks to your co-worker here." Dave said as he looked at me with fear, but I didn't care. "You won't be able to cut it by conventional means."

"I got just the thing then," I said as I pulled a [Proton axe]. "This here should do the trick."

"What is that?" Dave asked as he watched me gently ease the axe across the bands, cutting them with ease and freeing AllMight.

"It's a Proton axe," I stated as I stored it away. "Can cut pretty much anything you point the blade at."

"Can I study it, please?!" Dave asked then sputtered out a string of words that I couldn't understand.

"No," I stated, cutting off the debate before it started. "You ain't getting any of my tech."

"But please, think of all the applications!" David begged.

"I said no, and that is final," I told him, this time pulling out my [10mm Pistol+] again.

.

David went rigid, thinking that I was gonna shoot him. I just walked past him and made my way out the door. I sighed, wanting to get this over with as soon as possible. So, I did what I do best, hunt down the assholes responsible for this with extreme prejudice.

.

It took me over an hour, fighting a few that tried to get the jump on me, but they all fell.
