I just couldn't stop thinking about it. 

Brielle was going on a date with that douche bag tonight, and there was nothing I could do about it. 

Yeah, I know… I had waited for a whole week without putting in any effort to change her mind, and I had also already kind of resigned myself to the fact, that whether I liked it or not, she was going to go on that date… because let's face it, the woman was one of the most headstrong women I had ever met.
