Albino Swordsman

Terrick arrives at the foot of the Imp Castle where he is greeted by imps running away from the rampaging Althea and Rhald. They try to overwhelm him with a barrage of sword attacks from the left and right. A group of mages were casting ritual magic in the corner. This was obvious since ritual magic utilizes magic circles with triangular elements as its central foundation.

Terrick smirks. Though he is worn out, his Explosion magic has leveled up significantly with its range and power nearly 10 times its basic form. Before the two closest imps reached him, he blows up their backs. This causes them to lose their stance and propels them much faster and further. They end up jetting past Terrick and slamming unconscious into a nearby wall.

He switches attention to the group of mages and trigger an Explosion in their midst. One of the mages got his face burned while the rest were thrown out of the magic circle. The loss in concentration causes the magic circle to dissipate. A level up notification pops into his screen and he feels a wave of rejuvenation course through his body. Terrick readies himself to face the onslaught of oncoming horde.

Lest being the fastest and most agile reaches the inner sanctum of the city. She took advantage of the ruckus that her friends are causing in the entry of the castle to sneak in. Most of the hallways were empty as the imps have manned their respective stations. She did find a few stragglers but she felled them quickly with her Wind attacks combined with her Silence spell. Her speed, wind attacks, and silence spell made her an excellent magician for spying.

Once she entered the castle, the pace of battle changed. She ran into a battalion of powerful imps in one of the hallways. Casting her Wind speed and Sound spell: Silence, she charges towards the imps. Her punches the closest imp and the sheer momentum rips part of his face off. Quickly changing direction, the next imp's eye bulges out as she sucker punches him into group of imps behind him.

Without missing a step, she casts a Wind spell that rips through the rest of the imp knights. Still, a handful of them survive the attack. They start running away and turn into a small corridor at the end of the hallway. She gives chase. As she rounds the corner, her eyes grow large. An imp general was standing ready mere paces from her.

Using Lest's own speed against her, the Imp general slams her into a nearby wall. The wall concave with Lest splayed on it. She drops to the ground and wipes a stream of blood from her mouth. She runs mana through her body and casts her spell Tornado fist. A small tornado forms on both her enclosed fist and the duel between strength and speed begins.

Vane sensing that his sister might be in trouble finds her mid-fight. He makes quick work of the two imp mages barring him entry into the castle. The twins always had an uncanny connection that even the best scientists and healers couldn't explain. It was an unexplained intuition, a sixth sense to feel the emotions of the other. As he tries to reach her, two imp generals jump in front of him.

Using Earth gauntlet, he punches one of the generals out of the way. The poor general was out cold. The second general was much hardier and took the punch with minimal damage. Vane smiles and calls upon his Rock armor. Shockwaves are created as each punch hits its target. But the general is equally strong and able to replicate the power of the punches he is receiving form Vane.

Bryce took this opportunity to scour the field for strong opponents. He knew that the strongest swordsmen would better serve the Imp King by fighting in the field. However, most of the imps he ran into died quickly in his hands. It wasn't until he was much closer to the castle that he encountered an albino Imp samurai. In fact, this enemy did not look much like an imp or a samurai except for a giant old scar in his right cheek. His hair is pulled back and tied into a chonmage (a samurai ponytail). His hands full of corns and callouses from years of battle.

The wind around them begin howl as they unsheathe their respective weapons: Bryce, his sword and the imp samurai, his katana. A single leaf softly falls off the tree and the moment it reaches the ground, the two ran with deadly aim. Violent slashes are parried again and again. A long and drawn-out sword fight ensued. It appeared to be an impasse between two sword geniuses. The samurai, though smaller in stature, had obviously developed countermeasures for fighting enemies larger than himself.

The samurai runs charges again and this time a split second was all it took to draw blood. A solitary wound appeared in Bryces face. It mirrored the place where the samurai had his. The samurai lurched back. Did he almost seem shocked at what he has done?! It has been a while since Bryce has been wounded by an enemy. Bruises? Yes. But making him bleed? This hasn't happened since the beast subjugation. He felt weak and this triggered him as he stared at red smudge he wiped off of his cheek. Fire was now visibly behind his angry stare. The imp seemed to flinch. Bryce has had a handful of level up since he fought his samurai. He couldn't wait to kill him and get EXP.

However, as he refocused the samurai imp has since retreated back into the castle. "Get back here, you coward!" he cried with righteous indignation. He then followed the samurai into the labyrinth of corridors until they reached a small courtyard filled with beautiful flowering plants. Bryce lunged into the samurai. "Is it just me, or is he not putting his sword up?" He thought of himself as a man of honor. He would never kill someone who wasn't fighting back.

Bryce pulled out his attack in the last second, but it was too late. He was face to face with the Imp, merely an inch away from his face. It was then that he realized. It wasn't an albino imp at all, but a bunny with beautiful white fur. "Was I in such a battle frenzy that I didn't even notice?! Are his cheeks turning beet red as his eyes looked away?!" Bryce asked himself.

Bryce tries to push the samurai away but as he does, he touches what could only be a soft ample bosom underneath loose kimono. The samurai gasps and slaps Bryce across the face. Disgust was clearly in her face. Tears slowly forming in the round of her eyes. The samurai runs into one of the many corridors and disappears. Bryce is left touching his face in shock. He dared not follow a female samurai whose honor he had just besmirched. "Too bad I couldn't get the EXP from the samurai rabbit," he thought to himself while unconsciously still running his hand against the left-over stinging sensation on his face.
