The meeting

it was a raining day the cloud was still heavy any moment the rain we fall , some days now the rain has been falling non stop and the whole ground have been flooded I couldn't go out and my exam is in two days time , have not seen kemi since Gabriel came to visit . I know she is busy at the supermarket and have no time coming out . when am less busy today I will check in on her unfortunately that didn't happened the rain fell through out the day and I was having the flu.

The next day the weather was inviting , the sun is out and the ground is a bit dry , the atmosphere was cool just finished taken my bath I step out of the bathroom and headed towards my room creamed my body and put on clean dry clothes . looked in the mirror my eye were looking too big for the socket have been reading non stop through out the night I slept early hours of the morning, tomorrow is my exam. It was a sunny day the next day , I woke up early ,took my bath wore my cloth and headed to dad room to collect my transport fare , he was still sleeping ,I woke him up , daddy wake up am going for my exams , is it today ,yes sir , where are having it at randle college surulere take the money on the table, that will be OK for you , I counted the money it is two hundred naira ,thanks sir , I walk towards the door open , closed and dashed out of the house I bored a bus going to orile , then entered a taxi to surulere . I got to the examination hall right on time , the examiners came out to introduced themselves and told us the various class we are going to write the exam, I walked into my class before long I was through and headed back home ,the exam took two hours . I was in the best contemplating on what to do next when the bus stop I alighted from the bus . walked down home but as I was getting close to the house I turn around and went straight to kemi supermarket . on getting inside I saw to guys , the first guy was Gabriel he welcome me and asked me about the exam my response was that the exam was fine I turn round to see the other person but he was talking to kemi I greeted kemi and also said hi to the stranger he turned round to face me that was when I could see his face wow he was handsome kind of like him at first sight Gabriel took the liberty to introduced him , Kim do you remember my friend that I told you was coming to town here he is . dustance meet Kim , Kim dustance, hello ! hi , how are you doing and how was your trip hope the road was good, yeah it was good so you are Kim Gabriel mention your name and I really wish to see you , you look beautiful , I became shy that moment I have never meet a man who have spoken to me that way we took our seat I started gisting with Gabriel we discuss politic and the economy of the Nigeria , so many things have changed since the coming of the military era , cost of living have gone up . in every households families now eat two square meal a day instead of three , what a country that is blessed with milk and honey . dustance also contributed and talked about school , he was in the university of port Harcourt and he was in his three hundred level he asked what am going to study I told Jim history he like why history I told him there is much I want to learn about my country and I love travelling not only that I also love writing he was shock because this is the first time a lady will tell him they want to study history instead of banking and finance , doctor, lawyer but I was happy all about what I want we still talked at length I kind of liked him it was already getting late kemi locked up we said our good byes and dustance promised he will come around the following day .

I woke up the next morning with some kind of sensation all over me , I want to see dustance once again , my dad have gone to work so I had to make use of the phone to call him to know of he is coming over , I dialed his number and some one picked it up at the other side , hello , the voice at the other side answered can I help you , please I would like to speak to dustance , the person at the other side answered OK and called dustance some one is on the phone he hurried and picked up the phone and his voice went stroaght to register in my heart , hello who is this , hi this is Kim , oh ! how are you , very well thank you , I wanted to know if you will be coming around today, there is silent at the other side , then he asked do you want me to come over , yes but if you are busy don't worry oh no I will come around in the evening but I will be leaving for school on Saturday OK I will be expecting you . do take care , I will he said bye see you later I hang up the phone. wow I rushed into the room to look for what to wear my heart was beating 360degree . I was filled with too much imagination and just then I saw the dress I will put on , it is a beautiful flower dress and I want to impress him hmmm just hope what am doing is right and I won't be disappointed but am putting my finger cross .

I comb my hair , style it and wore my dress about to hit the road, peace my baby sister was watching me are you going out Kim , yes and going to kemi place am not going far so why are you dressing up putting on makeup and styling your hair. and you are wearing your church dress , shiii I want to go and see a friend and I need to dress well. I walked towards the door and off I go. I got to his place and and saw him coming out with a bucket in his hands , I greeted him first because he was backing me , hello ! hr turn around to see who it was , hi ! he immediately dropped the bucket in his hand walked toward me said you made I smile at that moment and said yeah , he smile back and told me to fellow him into the house , at that moment I didn't know that someone was backing in the house , there was this black tall and handsome looking guy his name his bunmi he introduced us then, bunmi smile and asked me my name I told him my name his Kim dustance called this handsome guy his senior , that was when I was ushered to a seat in the sitting room . I sat down , dustance bough in some side for me and went back to what he was doing out said and left me with this handsome guy. we began talking about school I told him I just put in for jamb and am waiting for my result and he good , so what are doing before your result comes out , I was thinking of looking for a job for the main time to keep body and soul together , that's OK just then dustance came in , can you please excuse us for a minute he told bunmi at this time he was holding my hand , then I stood up , he walked me into the bedroom, the moment we enter he walked towards the bed and askef me to sit downi did sit down but was afraid of what was going to happen next he stir intoy eyes , he had this kind of a sexy small eyes and before I could say a word he planted a kiss to my mouth that turn out to be a deep kiss , it was my first kiss but I managed to push him away , he took a back and asked if there was any problems I said no but came out opening withy fears am still a virgin , he was shocked and surprise and the next question was interesting are you telling me you don't have a boyfriend, I said yes , that is unbelievable at this age and time , yes. so what are will doing that was when I realize that he was thinking of other things I stood up and went to the sitting room , he later came over and I told him am living , he stood there and all that he could say was OK , we walked out of the house hand in hand, we got to a place and he told me he wants us to take a photograph I accepted even though I wasn't prepare for it. he said he wants to use it to remember me when he goes back to school we finish and I boarded a bus home
