Ch : 6 A fresh Beginning

---Grey's POV---

When I opened my eyes, I was in a blinding light. I couldn't see what was happening. Then I fell asleep. When I woke up again I was still unable to see everything clearly, but the difference was that I was in something that was moving. Because of my weak body I couldn't stay up for long, so I entered a schedule of Waking and falling asleep again after having a meal. This continued for about a month.

After one month, I got to know that my name was Ye Ning Tian, and I was finally able to see everything clearly. I was again reincarnated. After sometime spending in a woke up state I got to know that In the family there were two persons, first my mother and second my grandmother.

When I turned seven months old, I was able to walk on my own. At nine months old, I started to run and doing what even a two-year-old kid struggled to do. I started to find out about the world I was born into.

To the present time,

"Happy Birthday son, congratulations on turning two." mother congratulated me.

"What is your wish?" asked my mother with some curiosity.

"My wish is to protect you and grandma." I said with enthusiasm.

"Haha, you are very sweet, my boy." she laughed.

"Now go to sleep and tomorrow we will leave for market, okay? So go to sleep early." she told me while smiling. She extinguished the candles.

She left the room and went to sleep, but I couldn't sleep thinking about that, I was finally able to leave the house for the first time. We were staying in a sect that was famous locally in the several towns. My mother served as one of the elders under the main elder of the peak.

Because of that we were allowed to stay in the sect.

In the morning,

"Huh? What is this? Am I imagining things, or am I hallucinating?" I was confused because of a sudden appearance of a window like floating screen in front of my face. I tried to touch it, but my hand went through the screen.

"Is there some kind of problem in my brain?" I thought that I was the crazy one, but then I was hit with the reality that it was not my hallucination nor a problem with my brain.

"Huh? What is this?" I saw a blinking tab on the screen. I touched it and then, "pop!" A new screen opened in front of me,

"Huh?" I was surprised as The items that were in my previous life were bound to me, though they were sealed, and I could not use them for the time being. But I was satisfied that my efforts did not go to waste.

The benefit of living nine lives was that I had much better arts and techniques than others in the foundation stage. And the better the technique, the stronger the foundation. I am just one year old kid now who hasn't started his cultivation and has no foundation.

"Tian'er, it's morning. Wake up and get ready." I walk up from thoughts by mother's call.

"Yes mother" I replied and got up and started to get fresh and get ready.

Then we went to the market and bought various things. In the market I noticed that there were many alchemy halls and towers as well as many people were selling various items such as herbs or weapons on the streets.

"It sure is lively here." I thought.

After we finished our shopping we again went to the mountain and then my mother left for the sect.

"I can finally start my training now." I got ready for my training since she went to the sect.

"Grandma , I am going out to play." I said to my grandmother.

"Don't go too far from the house." grandma said.

I went out and started to look for a place to train, far from anyone.

"This place looks good to train." I found a waterfall into deep mountains. It was a good place to start training this new body.

"The first step to build a foundation is to have a strong body." I started to run around the waterfall. Running is one of the best methods to increase one's stamina.

"Perfect, now I have another reason to exercise." I was overjoyed at the quest assigned to me. I started doing the exercise and after five hours of doing the exercise the quest was finally completed. Though I had to take some rest between exercises as the body was not adapted to work out.

After the finishing the workout, the massage popped up,

"Confirm." I said. Then the fatigue from the exercise was gone. "Is this the effect of state recovery?" I thought.

After this, I returned to home and fell asleep. Because of the untrained body, it was difficult to finish the quest without taking a break. Though the state points I get from completing the quest could make it easy for me to train, as it could enhance my strength and speed, but the drawback was there. If I increased my strength and speed through the stat points, then the increase in my strength through the exercise would go down. Let me explain, by doing the exercise I could increase my stat to a little extent, but if I increased my strength then it would become easy for me to lift the weight. Then the natural amount of stat that will increase by the exercise will go down as the burden on my body will become less. So instead of this, I stored it and continued the exercise without using it.

After this time it became my schedule for nearly five years, doing exercise, completing the quest and then enjoying the rest of the day. Like this, five years passed, and finally it was the day of awakening the blood.

In this world when the children reach the age of six, they will be taken to awaken their blood and measuring their potential and talent. Based on the results, many sects would come and offer them to join their sect.Although many other candidates could apply for the sect as well, the top scholars will be recruited personally by the sect.And today was the day when i was awakening my blood.I reached the awakening ceremony.There were many other children as well.Some were from the nobles while many other were from the commoners.The nobles' were given a seperate compartment.

The examiner was just waiting for the sect's elders to start the ceremony.Then a cry of bird came. it was a signal that sect elders were coming.
