CH:11 Meridians

Ye tian was in space with unanswered questions.

"Who was he? How did he come here? And why?" Ye tian was confused because the space he was currently is space inside the humans, known as the consciousness sea. This space is where one's soul resides. And no one can enter anyone's consciousness sea without their permission.

"Don't think too much. The priority is to stabilize the body first." Ye tian came out of his consciousness sea and regained his body. A jolt of severe pain greeted him. But ye tian was prepared and gritted his teeth and endured pain. Ye tian found that all of his meridians were in a mess because of being disturbed in the middle of the awakening.

"Damn you Ba*tard." Ye tian cursed in his mind. His priority was now to first solve the messed up meridians. Ye tian quickly grabbed several needles and started to poke into his body ruthlessly because the time was already very tight, and he could not afford to waste any more of it. The needles were being pierced through the skin and made its way to the veins and started to repair the messed up meridians. Ye tian quickly grabbed other needles and poked them into his body. The pain was very intense, but ye tian preserved. After going through a life and death situation, he knew that compared to that, it was very easy to endure the pain. 

After an unknown period of time, ye tian opened his eyes. 

"Hah! Finally, the meridians have been repaired." Ye tian sighed heavily.

"Now I just need to open other meridians." Ye tian was determined to open the more meridians. Suddenly, the bloodline in his body activated and started to run rampage in his body. Ye tian was taken aback by the change. MMP finally repaired his meridians, and now it is going to be damaged again. Ye tian was like crying without tears. All three of his bloodlines were on the rampage. Just as he was about to suppress them, the hidden meridians started to fluctuate and started to open up.

"Huh?" ye tian was shocked that the meridians were opening on their own. The thunder blooming in his body was like an ancient beast running rampage, an unknown power was slowly drifting in his veins and a dragon chant was echoing in his consciousness. A suction force came out of his body and started to absorb the heaven and earth spiritual power crazily.

A funnel was created because of the suction force in ye tian's body. If anyone noticed the sky at this time, they would find that clouds in the sky were gathering into one direction. Fortunately, it was already dark and the no one noticed the changes. Spiritual aura was continuously absorbed into ye tian's body. The body was in a huge burden and pain. The pain was so intense that ye tian fainted.

In the early morning, the birds were chirping, and the wind was blowing slowly. A bird came to ye tian and pecked his hand. Due to the pain, ye tian woke up.

"It's already morning." ye tian was still half asleep and everything was blurry.

"I am sure the meridians were damaged last night. What happened last night?" ye tian was confused. Just then, he noticed something weird.

"Huh? What is this? Why is there an extra meridian?" Ye tian was confused at the site. 

"Don't tell me! Is this what I think it is?" Ye tian was in shock. He carefully checked the meridian and started to laugh suddenly.

"Hahahaha, The heavens are on my side. Hahahaha." Ye tian laughed loudly.

'If this is what I think it is, then I have hit a jackpot. The meridian I opened is the sacred meridian mentioned in the myths. It's told in the myths that there was a person who discovered a book in the ancient ruin and gained all the knowledge about the human body and martial arts. "The stats have rose." Ye tian took a quick glance at the status window. He got up and left the house and came down the mountain. He entered a restaurant and sat down in a corner. He ordered food and waited till the food to arrive. He suddenly heard a group of people talking, "Have you heard about the news? The three major sects have started to take new disciples." 

"What? But it is not the time yet."

 "It is said that this time's new selection is starting early because the martial arts tournament held in the Tian empire is decided to be arranged early."

After ye tian heard some brief news, he walked out of the restaurant and decided to take a look in the market when he noticed that some people were following him since the restaurant. Ye tian sped up a little and took a turn in a deserted alley. The people following him also took the turn in the alley but found that he was not there.

"Let's go. We must find that boy." The leader took his subordinates and left. In a corner of a dark and deserted alley, a shadow was standing there. After the leader took his subordinates away, the shadow came out and stared at the leader. Then vanished into the crowd.

It was already evening and on the mountain, ye tian was meditating. After sometime, he opened his eyes.

'The body is already trained and has adopted to the meridians.' ye tian thought.

"Come out. Since you are here, how about showing yourself?" Ye tian looked in the direction and said.

From the shadow of tree several figures walked out.

"I see that you have some skills. I can understand why the young master wants to kill you." A bald man said. I assume that he was their leader.

"You were chasing me before." Ye tian said.

"Yes, we were chasing you, but you suddenly disappeared. Because of that, we had quite the difficulty finding you." The leader admitted it.

"Kill him." The leader ordered and assassins attacked ye tian.

Ye tian backed up and closed his distance with one of the assassin. He punched out. The assassin was hit in the chest and died on the spot. Ye tian took the turn and rained his fists on many assassins.

Looking at this the other assassin got afraid that if they get near him, they will end up same as the dead assassins.

" How is he so powerful? They are the fifth level of coagulation realm." The assassins were angry, and they had a touch of fear in their eyes.

"Trash, you can't even kill a brat who hasn't even begun his cultivation." The leader was angry and took out his hammer and swung it on ye tian.

Ye tian got goosebumps on his entire body as the hammer approached near. His back broke into the cold sweet. The hammer hit the ground and a huge crater appeared on the ground. The leader was struck with recoil and his hands were numb. Ye tian took advantage of this and closed his distance between him and punched the leader. But his first hit the handle of the hammer. His hands became numb with pain.

"Haha, boy die." The leader was overjoyed that ye tian could not attack him for a little time. And for him, it would be enough to kill ye tian. Just as the leader was about to hit ye tian, he noticed that he could not move. Leader tried to pick the hammer up and tried to swing at ye tian, but to his surprise, he couldn't.

The leader noticed a cut on his left shoulder suddenly.

"You are slow to realize." Ye tian got up and walked over to him. He came to leader and sit near him.

"You are probably wondering why you can't move." Ye tian said.

"Well, I just took the dagger from your waist to defend." Ye tian looked into his eyes.

The leader looked at his waist and noticed that the dagger was not there.

"I assume it was coated with paralyzing poison, considering that you can't move." Ye tian smiled lightly.

"Now, to the business. Who sent you? " Ye tian asked coldly to the leader.

The leader looked around trying to find if there was anyone.

"There is none left for you to ask for help." Ye tian understood from his eyes.

"No…. Please… Don't… kill…me…" the leader begged ye tian to spare his life.
