The Clifton Republic

The group arrived at Clifton. Ramos left because he felt Rees's Glove leave the city. The Friends decided to stay in Clifton. as they walked in the streets they saw destroyed buildings, rubble everywhere, destroyed tanks, crashed helicopters, and blown up/abandoned APCs. The group went further into The City then ran into Simulacrai Soldiers. The Soldiers were speaking to each other and didn't notice the group. The soldiers were speaking a language the group had never heard of. Brandon listened the best he could and sounded out every word one of the soldiers said, "Akuru de nikaru bikara jikare Simulacro". The group moved away from the soldiers and into the main residential area of Clifton. They were walking down the street when they discover cars and buildings that are on fire. "This is from a recent fight", Abby said readying her rifle. The group stopped when they found civilians with guns around them like they were holding them. The civilians were dead. there were at least a hundred of them. then they found dead Simulacrai soldiers. "Yep. Abby was right. There was a battle here," said Kaiya grabbing a rifle off the ground. The group was in shock at the battlefield. The group started to move then a gunshot rang out and Brandon is sent to the ground bleeding from his neck. "Brandon!!" yelled Abby who saw his neck get nearly blown to pieces. Brandon was dead. The group got behind cover. Alex was enraged so was Abby and Kaiya. Alex saw it. A Simulacrai Sniper in a window of a building further ahead. Kaiya held her breath. Aimed. And fired. She hit the Simulacrai Sniper in the head. The Sniper fell out of the window landing on the ground, breaking their neck and a couple of bones. The group gathered around Brandon's body. Before they could do anything. A Simulacrai Battalion arrived and aimed their guns at the group and yelled "Arkaiser boten dewarden". Abby's thoughts were all over the place, "What do we do" "Do I shoot" "Do I drop my gun" "What will happen to us". Abby went to drop her gun when gunshots rang out and Simulacrai Soldiers fell to the ground while some turned around and shot at something. The group ran for their lives. leaving Brandon's body behind.

The group made it to an empty store and stayed there. Kaiya and Abby then looked at each other and realized something. Cat was gone. "she was with us walking to Clifton," said Alex. The group didn't know what was going on. Kaiya also realized, "Wait. The soldiers in Kopperl spoke English. Why don't the soldiers here speak English." Everyone was confused or losing hope. The group decided to sleep. it wasn't a good night. Everyone fell asleep with tears in their eyes.

Abby woke up early. She decided to go for a walk and scout the area. While she grabbed her rifle she noticed Kaiya was waking up. After an exchange of words, Kaiya joined Abby on the Scouting Mission. The two friends walked for a couple of miles and saw other people. There were five people, they all carried weapons. They approached the friends. "don't move" said one of the people. Abby and Kaiya obeyed. The people took Abby and Kaiya's guns then spoke, "what are you kids doing out here". Abby answered, " We've been trying to find the leader of The Invaders and kill him". One person giggled and said, "we've been trying to do that for a year. The Invaders populated this city easily then we were forced to live under their laws. We finally lost it and started a rebellion. We almost had him. he was surrounded by us then this giant robot dropped from a ship above us. it was nine feet tall. it had swords connected to its arms and its arms clashed together and they connected and it materialized into a giant gun. It destroyed the men that surrounded it. The Leader then ordered it to be returned to the ship". I was the only man that lived through the attack. Abby and Kaiya gave their condolences and asked, "What happened to the rest of the people in the resistance" to which the man answered, "they are all hiding in our headquarters" Abb then said, "What's the resistance called" the man answered, "The Clifton Republic"
