Settled

Cynthia got to her workplace and discovered that all her colleagues were not in their seats. 

She checked them around and discovered that they were having a meeting with the Managing Director. She entered the hall quietly and sat down in the back row. 

She got there when the managing director was talking about taking permission, her heart skipped a bit, and thought maybe it was because of her that the meeting was held.

  Furthermore, she adjusted on her seat and some people looked in that direction, but she quickly bowed her head.

The meeting ended and everybody went to their duty post.

Cynthia blamed herself for taking permission to go out early in the morning, and she was even rejected there. 

But was happy she caught her friend red-handed, if not she would have been the victim of her lies again. 

She was rushing to clear the file on her desk so that she could go out to meet Wilson.
