Revenge continues......

Few hours into the event starting and Charlie has not yet arrived making people to start gossiping.

"But the main guest of the event is not yet here!"

"Mr Charles Powell isn't here yet"

"Will he really come?"

"But we were told that he would attend"

"What a pity!" 

People were beginning to doubt of Charlie would attend the event but their thoughts were distracted by the sudden commotion at the door. As everyone looks at the door they saw a handsome and sexy looking man and they were shocked.

"Charles Powell !" 

"He really came" 

"But who is that woman with him?"

"I don't know"

The reporters asked Charlie who the young lady was and Charlie said.

"She is my wife".........

"What!" Everyone in the hall was left speechless by Charlie's revelation.

"When did he get married!?" The single ladies who has a crush on Charlie were having different expressions surprised, shocked, jealous, angry.

Adriana who was sitting on her sit was very angry that Charlie acknowledged Eve in public. By doing that her plan to take Charlie from Eve would be difficult because she will be seen as the mistress and third party trying to destroy their marriage.

As Charlie was introducing Eve to some of the guests he knows they were approached by Adriana.

"Hey cousin Eve! How are you doing?" Adriana said drawing Charlie's and Eve's attention to her.

"Hello cousin Adriana" Eve said sarcastically.

"Hello Charles" Adriana greeted Charlie but got no response and she squeezed her hands to surpress the anger she felt from how Charlie ignored her.

"Congratulations on the 20th's anniversary of Devan corporation and I have a special gift for you all" Eve said smiling slyly looking at the shocked expression on her cousin's face.

"What is she planning to do? What is the gift she wants to have" Adriana was lost in thought as she didn't notice when Eve and Charlie walked away from her.

As the party was going on, suddenly the attention of the guests were called upon to face the stage. Everyone turned their focus on the stage and saw Eve with the microphone smiling.

"Isn't that Charles's wife?" One guest said.

"What is she doing on the stage?" Another guest said.

"Looks like she has something to say" another guest said.

"What is she doing up there?" Adriana and her family wondered. They thought of dragging her out of the stage and was discouraged by Charlie's presence and decided to see what she was planning on doing.

Eve cleared her throat and began to speak.....

"As you all know that I am the wife of Charles Powell and also his personal assistant but their is one other identity you don't know of me" Eve said looking at her relatives with shock evident in their eyes.

"What do you mean Mrs Powell?"

"Yes tell us your other hidden identity!" Reporters were shouting furiously wanting to know because as far as they know this will be a juicy news.

"Hurry! Get her off the stage!" George shouted commanding bodyguards to drag Eve off the stage. The bodyguards proceeds to carry out their boss's order but was stopped by another set of bodyguards blocking their way.

"Who are you morons! Move out of the way or you will be dealt with!" George shouted like a maniac to the core.

"We were ordered by the boss to protect madam" ken said not minding the threat been given to them.

"Who is your boss? Doesn't he know who I am?" George shouted.

"My boss is Charles Powell and he doesn't know want to know about you" ken said.

"This is the....... " George speech hung mid air as he was told that it is Charlie who ordered them and screamed inwards because he can't do anything.

"I am the niece of Devan corporationn's CEO George Anderson and on today's joyful and wonderful occasion I decided to give the Devan corporation a gift to congratulate them.

Eve signaled Charlie. Charlie got the message and called someone on the phone.

"Begin" Charlie ordered the person on the other line.

"Yes boss" Sazuki replied.

As everyone was waiting for the gift, chatting and wondering what the gift would be, then the big screen in front of them started playing a video.

In the video George was seen with some unknown people talking about an illegal transaction that is worth billions. The unknown men looked like they very dangerous people who cannot be messed with.

"That is not me! I am being framed by her!" George shouted defending himself.

"I have images and documents to support this video" Eve said and clicked her fingers and several images and documents showing his illegal activities for years and people were stunned silly and of course the reporters zoomed into big screen to get a clear picture of the evidence.

George slumped on the floor but he was helped to a nearby chair by his bodyguard.

As the guests and reporters were trying to digest what they just learnt the Andersons another video popped up on the big screen. This video displays the conversation of Charlie and Adriana in the hotel room.

"As you can see in this video Adriana my dear cousin was trying to seduce my husband, make him divorce me and marry her instead" Eve said frowning and looking at Adriana.

"That's not true" Adriana said trembling furiously but immediately held onto a chair to steady herself.

Everyone looks at Charlie to confirm if what his wife said is true and he said the true of course!

"Yes, it's true my wife's cousin tried to seduce me" Charlie said without any atom of pity for Adriana. With these evidence in front of them she is doomed, her reputation that she has been building for years has been tarnished in one night.

"What do you mean that's not true, huh? You sent someone to stop me when I came out of the female restroom on the day I accompanied my husband to a meeting as his personal assistant. Not only that, you took pictures of both of us and sent it to my husband and even put up the act of saying that you would tell him about my past relationships to seduce him so he would marry you... Hahahaha" Eve began to laugh, "you thought you were careful and wise enough that we won't find out of your plot against me. If you think you can take away my husband from me, pfft... I have only two words for you... DREAM ON!...." Eve said laughing and going off the stage.

"What!" 

"This is too much to take in!"

"We are going to be really popular if my media station publishes this story, it's going to be hot!" One of the reporters said.

As Eve got down from the stage, Adriana ran over to her and wanted to slap her but her hand was caught before she could even do it but instead Eve slapped her so hard that it left her fingerprint on her face. Eve bent down and whispered to Adriana's ear.

"If you think this is over... it's not my dear cousin because I am yet to reveal the culprit behind my parents death and who the rightful owner of Devan corporation is! So keep watching" Eve said smirked and left the hall with Charlie. 

Shortly after Eve and Charlie left, the police came in and arrested George for his illegal dealings in the country.

The event ended in a disaster and for sure that would be the number one trending post on the internet by tomorrow or tonight!!

The next day afternoon......

The news of the father and daughter pair was already the number one most searched topics on the internet, although the family of George Anderson tried to surpress the news but someone more powerful than them is preventing and destroying their efforts. They were practically outcasts in the society.

Adriana's friends left her mocking her that she stooped so low as to seduce someone's husband and offend the most influential family in the city. They said she was the one who cursed her downfall.
