Olivia's POV:
I woke up and glared around. I was back at the apartment and my room, and there was no one. Did Alex leave again?
I rushed to the sitting room, where there was no one as well. I walked to Alex's room and pushed the door open. I found him buttoning his shirt, and I sighed in relief.
"Are you going out?" I asked, but he didn't reply. He picked up his car keys before walking past me. Then I remembered everything was no longer the same; now he hated me more than anything.
"It's Christmas," I reminded him as he walked downstairs, then hurried and caught up to him before he went out.
"Christmas is meant for people who deserve it," he said, and I nodded.
"We should spend it with my family; it will be fun." Maybe being around happy scenes might help reduce the hate he has for me.
"What family? Have you forgotten the deal?" That's true; I accepted the deal before I passed out.
