"Come in,"

His assistant walked into the room, stopping in front of his desk.

"Sir," she said.

He briefly discussed some things with her.

"You can leave to prepare for tomorrow," He finally said to her.

"Yes sir," she said and took her leave.

Michael turned to Daniel and apologized.

"I am sorry about that," he said.

"No problem, sir." He answered, amazed at his boss apologizing to him.

"Tell me about Mitchell." He spoke. From eight years ago. He added after a brief pause.

Daniel smiled inwardly. Surprised his boss had remembered. Clearing his throat, he started,

"Eight years ago, Mitch had a nasty breakup, one that left her shattered and broken." Daniel related, apprising his boss everything he thought he should know about Mitchell.

"Commitment? Marriage?" Michael asked.

"Commitment and marriage? Daniel repeated. Before adding. "Not in Mitchell s book."
