Elle placed a glass of hot chocolate in front of Lucas. She then sat down in front of him but not in the seat right in front of him. She purposely took the empty seat next to the chair opposite to him. "What are you doing here?" She asked as she wrapped her palms around the mug. She sought warmth to dispel the cold that she felt.
"Enjoying your homemade chocolate," Lucas answered curtly. He followed Elle's movements by holding the sides of the white mug with both hands.
Elle rolled her eyes. Apparently, she asked the wrong question. "I mean, what are you doing in London?" She replaced it with something more specific.
"Working with you. You certainly haven't forgotten our project, have you?"
