Chapter fifty-five.
" I'm sorry for freaking out in the kitchen earlier." Sabel apologized as she stepped into the living room with a tray containing two portions of noodles she made.
Danvers looked up from the laptop, he was working on. " There is nothing to apologize for. You always have a lot of things going through that your brain" he replied and turned his gaze back to his laptop and began to type again.
" I thought you were angry with me."
" For what?" he said this time without looking up from his computer.
" From the way, you worked out. I thought you were angry with me. Maybe for cooking in your kitchen."
" You and your imagination," he said with a chuckled
" I made a little portion of noodles for you. I guess you might be hungry. So I prepared little noodles for you."
She said and kept one of the plates in front of the laptop. Danvers wanted to reject the food but stopped when the aroma drifted into his nostrils.
