Chapter six

vomaah looked around the building and marched towards the middle building with golden color and the most luxurious building.

Colonel Dunga was in his spacious office checking reports from external relationally department when, he had the sound of Amber.

He was fully dressed in his full camouflage uniform. His name were written on the front lip of the military cap (Colonel Dunga Innoomi ). He has a tribal mark on his left chin which didn't destroy his face.

He asked his secretary to check what was going on only for him to come back patting

"Sir, it his Excellence with his full military mob."he said patting

On hearing that he broke out in cold sweat ' what was Mr President doing in his office. The presence of Mr President meant serious problem.' he thought

He stood up and collected his things and marched up to welcome the hero of the country. He paused in his step before he ordered his secretary " Use our communication systems and inform our prominent workers that his Excellence is in our office and they should use our private elevator to come down at once."

"Okay sir ." replied the anxious secretary before rushing out of the office.

Within 15 minutes all the high officials workers were there to welcome their president. Many of them were surprised at first but they left everything they were doing to welcome their president to their office.

Undue, many of them were anxious but also excited to see their president who has a great reputation in the country .A man who came back from world war unharmed. He has fought thousands of war and brought many people to their knees leaving them lifeless. His victory in battle within the country or outside the country had made people fear and respect him. Firstly , he saved the country from a very destructive civil war that would have tored the country apart.

After he came back from world war ii unharmed, he was made a "General "by the queen of England before their independent, when they were still under the colonial masters. His bravery and perseverance made him a role model to many people .

They were excited to see their hero face to face for the first time. Many had seen him on television, magazine, newspaper and different platforms. A man that had changed a lot of things since , he became the head of state. He reduced a lot of unemployment in the country which the civilian government couldn't do . He made provision of many social amenties in the country. Security were elevated in the country all because of him.

On reaching the entrance of the building. Vomaah saw a lot of people that had come to welcome him. He smiled , Dunga is indeed smart . He was sure that he wasn't aware that he was coming but he managed to arrange all most of the workers to welcome him. Indeed , he had cut him unaware. He went closer and smiled before greeting all the workers who were looking at him admiral.

He looked and saw Colonel Dunga who was in the middle coming to greet him composed but when he looked into his eyes he saw anger and anxiousness but outwardly, he was smiling. Vomaah pretended as if he was unaware of what was happening and smiled at him.

Colonel Dunga saluted him and greeted immediately "Good day Roger sir."

Vomaah looked at him and sneered before he saluted him back before handshaking him

"Good day Colonel Dunga."

"Good morning, his excellence Mr President. It is a pleasant surprise seeing you here. You would have informed us. At least, we would have welcomed you officially."

"I don't need any welcoming ceremony that is why I came here by surprise. At least your welcoming is still a pleasant surprise to me. I didn't expect these honourable welcome. I am honored. let's go inside . We have a very important matter to discuss."

They made a way for Colonel Dunga and the president to enter the office. Vomaah's security officers stood outside. Some stood not far away from the office.

Colonel Dunga first entered into the office followed by Vomaah. Dunga stood in front of the desk before motioning for the president to sit down.

"Please sit sir." he said pointing at the seat opposite him.

Vomaah sat down before Dunga sat down on his own chair.

He picked his telephone and called his secretary "Bring in some refreshments."

He ended the call and dropped his telephone and smiled towards president vomaah. He cleared his throat. He was about to speak when his secretary entered into the office with some refreshments and kept one in front of president vomaah and the other, in front of Colonel Dunga . After placing the refreshments. She turned around and left. Colonel Dunga has five secretaries and a personal assistant.

"Sir his excellence , what brought you to my office today."he asked politely

Vomaah cleared his throat and spoke in a solmne voice " Colonel Dunga you should not be asking me that question. You are among the arms forces ruling council . You know the rules. What is these, I am hearing about you and problems with the international society . Why are spoiling my government. You know how tough it was before, I was able to build a good relationship with the international society?"

On hearing that Dunga broke out in a cold sweat. He knows that president's visit was not ordinary and it means war. As a military man , he composed himself. Even due, he was afraid but he don't have to show it.

The arms forces ruling council were made up of prominent and high ranked military members. The president is their chairman just like in democratic system of government where they use uni - cameral or bi - cameral. The house make laws for the country. In military government these particular body called the arms forces ruling council make laws for the country and the laws they made are called degrees.

Colonel Dunga said in a very polite manner trying to cover his anxiety "His Excellence I don't understand what you're talking about. I have been discharging my duties accordingly."

Vomaah looked at him and his navie behavior and corner of his lips curve upwards. He changed his voice to his usual overbearing, cold authoritative voice "Colonel Dunga did you think I came here to joke with you? Why don't you ask your colleagues that had worked with me of the kind of person I am. You don't understand what I am talking about. Okay let me explain."

Immediately he said that Colonel Dunga almost urinated on himself. He knew he had offended him.

"Why is different goods missing. You know how long it took me to build the relationship with the external community. You seize imported goods unnecessary. What do you take these country for."

"Sir that not true. I have discharged my duties accordingly."

"Instead of doing your work. What you do is to collect bribes and seize planes imported goods then sale them off to other countries putting the whole money in your pocket,and suffering the citizens and you sit here and said you have been discharging your duties accordingly."

"Colonel Dunga is like you need to be thought a lesson. In other to stop these your impudent behavior towards your country. "

This time around Colonel Dunga couldn't hide his fear anymore because he knows that it is better to die in the face of war than to receive punishments from the president. He is well known for his ruthlessness and Justice in mitlitary. "Sir what do you mean ?"
