Chapter forty-eight.
Danvers knocked slightly on Sabel's door and waited for the door to open. For so unknown reasons, he was nervous.
Shortly the door was opened from the inside. The puffy and swollen eyes of sabel came into view as she stood in front of the door still in her pyjamas.
" Hello," Danvers said slightly trying to be polite and not sounding cold and commanding.
" Hi," she said awkwardly with a forced smile. If not for the mood she was, she would have laughed out at how cute he looked.
" Have your flights been booked? I mean are still leaving this evening."
" No, I'm not, the evening flight was cancelled because of the weather."
when Danvers looked into her eyes, he felt a prick in his heart. " So she has been crying for that rascal," he said inwardly looking closely at her face and swollen eyes.
" Have you been crying?" he asked in a sour tone.
