When they heard small sobs and sniffs, they all turned their head towards where Vivian was and saw her clutching the side of her cloth with one hand while she used the other hand to cover her face as she buried her head down.
Even though Carl wanted to console her so badly, he held himself back and instead, dipped his hands into his pockets. Now that he understood her, he knew why she had to do all those things she did in the past. It was not easy for someone like her so she needed someone to vent on.
“Why didn’t you tell me when you noticed it?” Carl asked Dylan in a low tone.
“Noticed what?” Dylan asked and Carl raised his shoulders up a bit.
“It’s not like I was certain,” Dylan responded. “She reminded me of Jane a lot after she disappeared and that was why I was hard on her even though I feel sorry about it now.”
