Kakashi passed by Konoha's gates, stopping when he didn't see Izumo with Kotetsu.

"Oh hey, Kakashi," Kotetsu said tiredly.

"Kotetsu." Kakashi nodded in acknowledgment. "Where's Izumo?"

"Oh he took some kid to see Hokage-sama. You wanted to talk him?"

"Some kid?" Kakashi questioned, ignoring Kotetsu's question. (Ha!)

"Yeah her name was ... Blue? She woke up at our gates." Kotetsu yawned. "Said she lived with a demon dancing salsa in rainbows."

"What...?" Kakashi questioned. "And her name is Blue?"

Kotetsu nodded.

"I'm just gonna pay a quick visit to the Hokage." Kakashi turned around and headed for the Hokage.

He saw a blond boy run past him, shinobi chasing after him. That nine-tailed jinchuuriki, Naruto was it?

He knocked on the Hokage's door and entered after hearing a 'come in'.

The Hokage was sitting at his usual spot, with Izumo and a young girl with dark blue hair at his front.

"Hokage-sama." Kakashi bowed. "Izumo." He nodded towards him, his eyes stopping at the girl.

Blue observed him for some time. "Hi!" She said, grinning happily. "I'm Blue! And Izumo-san's going to adopt me!"

"Blue, huh?" Kakashi muttered. So this was the 'Blue'. She was quite beautiful, to be frank but her hair was ... odd. So was her name.

"Yes. Blue!" She said.

"Blue here says she just woke up at our gates," Izumo stated.

Kakashi nodded.

"Well Kakashi you're right on time. You could be Blue's personal tutor," the Hokage said.

"What? No I-"

Blue stared at him creepily. "You don't want to tutor me? Why not?"

"It's not that I-"

"So it's settled then." The Hokage clapped his hands. "Izumo, I'll pay child support for her. Kakashi, I trust you to teach her the basics so she could take the graduation exam with the others. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a Naruto to catch." He shooed them away.

Kakashi stared, dumbfounded, at Blue. She just gave him an adorable grin.

"So Izumo-san. Where to now?"

Izumo sighed. "I'm going to drop you off for Kurenai to handle. Then I'll go get home ready. Kakashi you'll come with me."

"Do I get a say in this?" Kakashi asked.

"Nope. You heard Hokage-sama. Plus we'll interrogate Blue later."

"Why do I get interrogated?" Blue asked, frowning slightly.

"Because you're suspicious, darling," Kakashi said, sarcastically.

Blue glared at him and he glared back.

Izumo was panicking on the inside. He's never had a child before. How was he going to cope with this girl? She was annoying and asked lots of questions. Not to mention she might be a spy who could consume all his chips in one night, then murder him. Yes, he had a strange obsession with chips. You can't judge him.

They spotted Kurenai in a clothing shop with Asuma, looking dead tired.

"Hey Kurenai, Asuma," Izumo said.

Kakashi nodded at them, pulling out a book.

Blue glanced at him, then at Kurenai. She was a pretty woman with untamed black hair, red lipstick and purple eye shadow on. Then she stared at Asuma. He was fairly okay himself. Black hair, brown eyes.

"Hi," she mumbled shyly.

Izumo stared at her. Since when did she become shy.

"Okay so this is my daughter, Blue." He pointed at her.

"Wait-" Asuma choked on his spit and began coughing madly. Kurenai weakly pat his back, like that would help.

"It's crazy I know. Hokage-sama made me adopt her because he had a Naruto to catch." Izumo presses his index finger and thumb to his temple. This was already getting stressful. "And Kakashi is her tutor."

"Right..." Kurenai stared at Blue. "So you have a ... daughter now?"

"Yes and she's moving in today!" Izumo said, unenthusiastically, glancing at Kakashi. "So while Kakashi and I get my house ready, we need you to help her pick out some ... girl things, I don't know, Kurenai."

"Of course I'd help!" Kurenai said happily.

Asuma groaned.

"Now shoo. You guys go get shit ready. I'll handle Blue." Kurenai pushed them away. She pulled Blue and Asuma deeper into the clothing shop.

The time spent was seven hours. Kurenai insisted they got every fucking thing, and the perfect ninja outfit. They had tons of bags. Asuma just wanted to go have a smoke but Kurenai dragged him everywhere.

By the end of it all, they bought literally the whole store. Clothings, more clothings, underwear, tampons, accessories, makeup (because Kurenai insisted), shoes, and more.

"I'm tired." Blue collapsed on the floor. "And hungry. I haven't eaten since last night."

Kurenai gasped. "Well why didn't you say so, darling? We'll get you something to eat right away! To Ichiraku ramen!"

"Kurenai," Asuma said. "I have to meet up with Shikaku soon."

Kurenai stared at him, not believing a single word.

"I'm serious!" He justified.

"Fine," Kurenai grumbled. "I believe you. Go but please get these bags to Izumo."

Asuma sighed in relief.

Kurenai carried Blue on her back because Blue nicely asked. Also because Blue was tired.

Kurenai approached two familiar faces as soon she entered. "Hey Iruka-san, Naruto."

Blue looked at them both from her place on Kurenai's back.

Kurenai placed Blue down. "This is Blue, Izumo's daughter as from today. Adopted of course. Blue, this is Iruka and Naruto."

"Hi Iruka-san, Naruto-san." She waved shyly.

"Hey Blue, join us for ramen!" Naruto said grinning up at her.
