Jaxon Ryker, that name has caused more terror in the hearts of many werewolves than anything ever since he took his place as the Alpha of the Blazepelt pack. I am one wild and crazy person but that does not mean that I would like to be in the same place as someone who can literally slash my throat without a single thought or even a bit of remorse. I have never met the guy but the stories of all he has done are enough to make me wish I never meet him but I guess I will have to if I am going to this "event" that our Alpha is hosting.

They could have held it in some other pack but they just had to go with the CruelCrown pack heck they could have even held it in the Blazepelt pack but they are all just scared of being in the territory of one of the most feared Alphas and so they had to go with the Alpha who is more peaceful and not death conceited. Who knows what could happen at the end of this same "event", maybe someone might die or an Alpha, the usual Alpha drama.

I will just have to lay low for the rest of the night, keep a low profile and try my best to not have any drinks containing alcohol, the last thing I need is to be on the black list of most of the Alphas and more especially the Alpha of the Blazepelt Pack; I love being alive you know. Alpha Jaxon Ryker is the type of person that is normally in your nightmares and has a huge sword covered with blood. People call him the blood-stained alpha because he has taken the lives of different werewolves, he has the biggest pack territory than any other pack.

According to the stories, other's say he looks like a huge monster, and others say it's like standing in front of the gods because he has such great looks but my imagination totally processed a total ugly man with an eye patch and the sword and a distorted face; blame the movies because most of the time the bad guy looks like he was picked up from a space crash especially Disney.

"I just can't believe it yet." Vera stretched her arms on the bed looked over at where I was seated on the small and fancy couch in her room.

"You better believe it," I said.

"I'll finally see how Alpha Jaxon looks like." She said and raised her body until she was sitting straight and looking at me. "Maybe he is drop-dead gorgeous." Her eyes were two wide balls that were sparkling in a room that had little lighting because the curtains were still down.

"Maybe he looks like the Hulk," I said.

"Yeah, the Hulk in his pants." She replied and I groaned.

I was usually cut out for anything but believe me when I tell you that I was not cut out for Vera's strong and dirty imaginative mind; she is the literal example of "the quiet and simple looking are the naughtiest and dirty-minded" kind of people. She is the best kind of friend any person would want but I do not take back anything when I say, her brain needs a lot of clean-up and lots of water and soap.

"Vera, you go for the good ones, not the ruthless killers," I said in a teaching tone.

"It's known that a bad boy can turn you on way faster than a good boy." She said and I chuckled.

She was into all these romance stories and I was now convinced that they were getting into her head and if only her parents did not keep her locked in this tower then she would not be imagining Alpha Jaxon's member. I knew that she was a sucker for the typical good girl falls for bad boy type of story and that is why she still had a crush on Lucas but this was getting worse if she was imagining the big bad Alpha's hulk.

"Not every bad boy is good-looking and has THE HULK." I put a lot of emphasis on the last part and Vera chuckled, by the way, I said it and what I meant. She knew that I believed that Lucas' had more of Ant-man because he was a jerk.

"But Alpha Ryker has not yet found his mate and his 26." She said.

It was going to take longer to get her to snap out of the "Alpha Jaxon Ryker" trance she was in. It normally took a lot of effort to get her out of the "Lucas Colton" trances but this seemed much worse than any of the other trances she has ever been in.

"Don't get too far up in the clouds and the event is tomorrow so I'm borrowing one of your dresses," I said and she finally looked me in the eye.

"Make yourself at home but make sure my mother doesn't see the dress because she almost killed me last night." She had a horrified and tortured look on her face as she described the way her mother reprimanded her.

I stood up and stretched my arms, I rubbed my hands together and smirked before looking over at the door that leads to Vera's closet; how much I love this closet more than any store in the entire pack, it's like having a store nearby where all the clothes I like are free and just for a few favours like sneaking soda and junk food for Vera.

"Don't go imagining Hulks now," I told Vera and wagged my index finger at her in a disapproving way and she laughed.

"I'll try my best." She replied and I walked over to her closet in search of something more presentable since my mother says all my clothes look like they were picked from a trash can.

"I don't know why you're complaining."

"I'm not complaining, I'm making my thoughts known." My mother replied and I could see the urge in her to explode in my face and tell me off but shockingly she had not done that yet; take note of the 'yet'.

"But mom Vera doesn't have a problem, I don't have a problem. Why do you have a problem?" I asked while dining on the pasta my mother cooked.

I had just arrived back home with an empty stomach after a long day of visiting Vera and robbing her closet and all I wanted was to have my supper and sleep but thou shall not forget about the wonderful 'momster' by the door waiting to bite immediately when I arrived back.

She had first indirectly scolded me about my dirty shoes on her clean rug and I had to take them off and then she started complaining about how she cooked supper all by herself and now her latest "making her thoughts known" was about how my closet has now become a runoff from Vera's closet just because she saw the dress in the bag I came back with that is still on the couch in the living room.

"You know why." She replied and gave me a side glare before turning back to the plates she was packing.

We've had this talk before and I thought we had wrapped it up but my mother never wrapped anything that involves the Kamdens especially Mrs Kamden because according to her the woman is a devil. Mrs Kamden had called my mother a beggar when she found out that I "borrow" Vera's clothes and that did not really go well with my mother. I do not know why the two women are always constantly finding a reason to insult each other but it was still entertaining even though it would worry me about Vera and me.

"Both you and I know you aren't a beggar so just let that woman's comments roll over," I advised her even though I too would never let a comment by Mrs Kamden roll over without a huge comeback.

"That woman really pushes my buttons." She fisted her hands and I was scared for the red clothe in her hand that. "She's such a....such a...bitch." She finally let it out.

I stood up and washed the plate I was eating on, I turned off the water and passed my mother the plate for her to wipe and place it back in the right place. I wiped my hands on my jeans and looked at my mother who had now finished with everything. I walked out of the kitchen and smiled at my father who was watching the usual news program he normally liked.

"She let it out? He asked and I chuckled.

"Hopefully she won't whine for the whole night," I answered and picked up my bag that was on the couch.

"No unnecessary drinking tomorrow, sweetie." He said and I smiled.

"I'll try," I replied and climbed up the stairs to my room.

The next day was gonna be a very energy-sucking day and even my wolf felt giddy that it worried me a bit, I was not going to get drunk for sure maybe a few drinks but not enough to make me drunk. I just pray that I do not encounter any Alphas, especially Alpha Ryker.
