The moonlight shines down and reflects off the water of the river as the group makes their way over the rocky ground, down towards the sandbank. Their hearts are filled with anticipation for they have been promised that jobs and a good life are waiting for them all in South Africa.
The six women and two children that make up the group had been recruited earlier in the week by Moses and his followers and had all left their villages in the middle of the night. They know that once they will start earning a salary, their families back in Zambia will be better off, for they will be in a position to send money home, and once more food will be on the table.
