Persuasion (II)...

Sato Ichika always knew that she was very different than the other people around her, she was more intelligent, more refined, and simply better. That is what her parents always told her and how could her parents have been wrong when the evidence was right in front of her eyes. Since she was small, she had been extremely good at academics and excelled in school.

She quickly understood everything her teachers told her, she became the best among her classmates without much difficulty. This led her to gradually grow apart from the rest of her peers, she simply couldn't relate or connect with them, nor could they with her. The other children of her age were just not mature enough to hold a conversation with her.

This quickly led to her becoming a recluse, she stopped talking with everyone except for the teachers. Her parents encouraged her behavior since they believed that she was superior to her peers and she shouldn't mingle with riff-raff. Her parents weren't the richest, but they were pretty well off. Her peers slowly started to hate her as the teachers simply adored her while their parents always compared them with her.

So, Sato Ichika started to get mocked by her classmates, they tried a lot, but they could never get a rise from her since she never cared what the others said about her. She knew that they were insignificant and they could only scream from the sidelines. After her peers saw that they weren't getting any results, they started to increase their efforts and slowly Sato Ichika started to get bullied.

It didn't last long as the teachers quickly caught on to what was happening. Since the teachers adored Ichika, they stepped up without wasting any time and called the parents of everyone involved. Some of the main instigators were expelled and Sato Ichika's parents decided to enroll Ichika in a dojo so that she could learn how to defend herself.

Once again, Ichika found that she was better than her peers. She quickly became the best student in her age group. That is when everything started to change for Sato Ichika, she found that instead of being hated like before, she was being revered and respected by the others. There were still some who hated her, but they kept their distance from her since unlike before, she wasn't weak.

After that, nothing much changed for Ichika, except for she learned how to better associate with others, and deal with the people who looked up to her, without ostracizing herself. Within the next couple of years, she became a model student. She became a student all teachers could be proud of.

Her parents couldn't be any more proud of her, so they enrolled her in the best high school in Tokyo. It didn't even take her a year to cement her place as a model student in that school. Even her seniors looked up to her and that was a huge achievement for her. The teachers also adored her, so it wasn't a surprise when Ichika was elected as the Student Council President as soon as she entered her third year.

Yesterday started completely normally for her, but all of a sudden everything went to shit. She was in the Student Council Room, signing off some papers and that is when the shit hit the fan. Some of the students who looked up to her came to save her and they succeeded too. Ichika might have a sheltered life, but she knew that if she wanted to survive then she needed to kill the Zombies.

That is how she gained the Skill:- Persuasion. The Skill allowed her to persuade anyone, but the Skill had a lot of limitations too… She could only use the Skill twice before she ended up completely depleting her Mana and then she had to wait for her Mana reserve to regenerate again. Then she could only use her Skill on a single person at a time and she also needed to have eye contact with her victim.

She had a really hard time reaching Level 1, but she knew that she was superior than everyone around her so she simply couldn't give up. She finally reached Level 1 and started to use her Skill to make the strongest boys in her group absolutely loyal to her. She obviously helped them reach Level 1 too, but unfortunately, their Skills weren't anything special.

It didn't take her long to realize that staying in Tokyo would be disastrous for her. So, she decided to escape the school along with her two loyal followers. She abandoned the rest of the group and quickly made her escape and it turned out to be a good decision as after arriving in the Tokonosu city, she found that the number of Zombies in Tokonosu city was much lower.

Unfortunately, her house was on the other side of the bridge, so she got stuck on the bridge and since the cops were protecting the bridge, she decided to wait. They had some food and water with them, so waiting wasn't going to be a problem for them. Everything could have been better, but she didn't have any problems, but all of that changed when a massive horde of Zombies arrived at the bridge.

She knew that she would be eaten or turned into those monsters so she decided to jump into the river. Obviously, her loyal followers also followed her example and jumped into the river. Since all three of them were Level 1, they survived and were able to swim to the shore before getting swept away. They heard several explosions coming from over the bridge, so they decided to wait for everything to settle down before heading up.

After some time, a man named Aoba Kenji came to look for survivors under the bridge. From the man, she learned that it was their group who was responsible for the explosions. Sato Ichika immediately realized that their group must be strong, so she decided to use her Skill on Aoba and join the group. The chance was simply way too good to pass up. Persuading Aoba Kenji to take them in was laughingly easy…

Aoba took them towards the rest of the group and some of their members were still fighting on the bridge, so she decided not to use her Skill for the second time. From Aoba, she had learned that he wasn't the leader, so she was planning to use her Skill on the leader of the group to get admitted without any difficulties and after that, she would not only get to join a strong group, but she would also get multiple strong fighters for the price of one.

Ichika didn't miss the fact that all the members of the group she had seen were carrying guns with them, and it seemed that they were using military vehicles too. She quickly realized that the group wasn't as simple as she had initially thought, which was good from her point of view.

When the other members of the group finally returned, Ichika was glad that she hadn't used her Skill for the second time. Two of the women among the new arrivals looked extremely scary, one of them seemed to be wild and feral while the other one seemed to be insane. Ichika expected one of them to be the leader of the group, but she turned out to be wrong when a young boy, named Yozora Daichi stepped up as the Leader of the group.

At first, she was taken aback, but she quickly gathered her bearings. Throughout the years, she had learned how to maintain her emotions since she couldn't lose control in front of others. Even when she was annoyed, she could only smile and bear it. The leader of the group was young and she could use it to her advantage. With that thought in her mind, she used the Skill on the boy only a couple of years older than her as she told him to invite them into the group.

That is when everything went wrong… For a few seconds, nothing happened, but all of a sudden the boy started to shake his head and before she could even realize what was happening, the insane woman screamed something and she drowned in the world of pain. She had never felt so much pain in her whole life.

She didn't even notice when she lost her footing and dropped to the ground. She felt like her skin was being peeled off by a blunt knife and her insides had been set ablaze. She felt like her head was going to explode due to pain… she felt like someone was stabbing red hot needles in her eyes and she could no longer keep her eyes open. It was simply impossible for her.

She wanted to beg them to stop, but no matter how much she tried, only screams were coming out of her mouth. Whatever was happening to her finally stopped and she felt like hours had passed since she had been screaming, her body was still spasming due to pain. She was completely unbothered by the fact that she had soiled herself, she was simply glad that the pain was gone.

She finally opened her eyes and found the boy… She no longer remembered his name, but she remembered that he was the leader leaning over her with a neutral look on his face. For the first time in her life, she was about to beg, but she didn't mind it. She would even allow him to toy with her body if it meant that she won't be feeling that horrible pain again…

"P–-Pl–-Please… n… no mor… more" she breathed out with a lot of difficulty. She felt like her throat was on her fire from all that screaming… She would swear herself to him even if he was a devil in disguise if it meant that she could avoid that horrifying pain…
