4. They meet Yusuke

Jake brought Kaori to his adoptive father's house, and today they both made their relationship public. Kaori didn't mind it, sooner or later they would face Kaori's big family. Even though Jake was her uncle's adopted son, they weren't that close. Kaori and Jake's family is well-known as the richest family in Indonesia. So many want to approach them just for business investment and small talk about marriage, just because of the wealth they have.

"Jake, are you sure my uncle will make things easier for us? We have a cousin bond"

"I am not his son, if you forget about it, then I will remind you of my position"

"Hey, my uncle never thought of you as his adopted son."

"Your uncle is a good man, but not his wife"

"Aunt Amelia changed when she had a biological child, I think you are great enough to survive until now, Jake"

Kaori praised, making Jake smile faintly.

"Pretty great" Jake muttered, "I appreciate your appreciation" Jake said,

"Jake, I'm not exaggerating"

"What do you mean?"

"My make-up, what do you think?"

"Oh. I thought it was your revenge"

"I'm still waiting for a more beautiful surprise than what happened at my own funeral"

"Sure, I'll take action that will make them count on us. You know, I'll make you pay dearly for everything I gave you."

Jake and Kaori join hands to enter a luxurious mansion, where Kaori's uncle lives. A man is seen talking to his wife. Kaori and Jake exchanged glances, they both exchanged gestures through their eyes, signaling that their acting was about to begin. Kaori and Jake will form a stronghold to protect them from sycophants who want the Nakamura family's treasure.

"Father" Jake called which made Nakamura Yusuke, stop his activities. Yusuke smiled seeing Jake's presence at his house. Usually, Jake will not visit Yusuke's house in Indonesia, when he is on an official visit to his company.

"Ryoichi! Come here, I miss you my son" said Yusuke who was now waving his hand, asking Jake to come closer to him,

"Me too dad"

"If you miss me, you should decide to stay in Indonesia and live with me and your mother and sister, Jay. I'm looking forward to that, even if I have to force you to marry, I will marry you to an Indonesian so that you stay by my side" said Yusuke who was currently smiling happily, unfortunately, it didn't show on the face of his wife, Amelia. Amelia didn't seem to like her husband's wishes. For him, Jake's presence is the biggest threat to Jay, his only son. However, Amelia chose to remain silent and did not pay attention to her husband's words, she did not want to get into trouble because of her wishes.

"I already have a future wife, Father"

asked Yusuke who was doubtful about the answer of the son.

Kaori smiled and let go of her hand, then she walked over to Yusuke who was still looking questioningly at Jake, his adopted son.

"Uncle, don't you miss me?" asked Kaori who was now clinging to her uncle, "uncle ignores my arrival, I'm sad," said Kaori who now made Yusuke stroke his favorite niece's hair, Amelia also stroked Kaori's hair which she considered her daughter.

"I certainly miss you too, since your father's death. You always lock yourself in your room, even the crazy news almost made my heart break out" said Yusuke,

"That's right Kaori, I want to hear the story. How did you survive?" asked Amelia who looked like she wanted to cry seeing the tragic fate of her niece,

"Jake saved me" Kaori replied making Yusuke and Amelia knit their brows, as if dissatisfied with Kaori's answer, "Uncle, Aunt, I want to marry Jake. Are you guys going to give us your blessing?" Kaori asked making Yusuke and Amelia look at each other as if they couldn't believe what they were hearing.

"But how come? You guys are still cousins?" asked the disgruntled Amelia her beautiful niece is married to her husband's adopted son, and Amelia doesn't want Kaori to marry a cold and expressionless man like Jake.

"Auntie, I love Jake" replied Kaori who was now looking at Jake full of love, if only no one knew they were acting. Surely everyone will be deceived by what they see.

"Don't you, you have Kaori's fiancé? How can you marry two men at once?" Yusuke asked, "I know, you can have two husbands, it's just that I don't-"

"Uncle, I'm only married to Jake. Are you sure that Jake wants me to be my second husband?" Kaori asked which now made Yusuke chuckle,

"But, what about your fiancé? Are you sure Jake is better than him?" asked Amelia who implied that she did not agree with the decision that Kaori made.

"Auntie, I think Jake deserves to be by my side more than Bastian. That bastard has slept with Lara, don't you want to see me happy?"

"WHAT! That crazy man dares to cheat behind your back?" Amelia asked annoyed, "Yusuke, make calculations with the man named Bastian. I don't want the person who made my Kaori suffer just like that," said Amelia, who is now demanding justice for Kaori.

Jake is only a spectator of three people who are currently debating their relationship until finally a tap on his shoulder makes Jake leave Yusuke's living room. Jake followed in the footsteps of his brother who was now wearing a school uniform, it looked like Jay had just come home from school.

"Hmm"

"Wow! You're cool, you made your words come true when we were kids"

"Hey, kid! Don't complain to other people!" threatened Jake,

"I hope you are happy, Bro"

"Of course"

"I'm sorry for what mom said. She just-"

"I know Jay, I don't hate mother. You have the right to reject me as Kao's companion because Kao's mother is like her daughter"

"I hope you will take care of Kao"

"Don't call her name, call her Sis Kaori. You're younger than her, brat!"

"Haish! Your life is very complicated, Bro"

Jake and Jay hugged each other. Although the two of them are not siblings, Jake's love for his brother is very great. There was no hatred for Jay in his heart. Jake and Jay have a good relationship, unlike Amelia and Jake's relationship which seems cold.

Jay held out a passbook in his hand, causing Jake to look questioningly at his brother,

"What does it mean?"

"I want to give my wedding gift, I want to be the first to give gifts to you and Kaori"

"Wow! So sweet"

"Tch! You should be thanking me instead of making fun of me like this"

"I'm sorry. I just didn't think that the little child I always carried has now grown up"

"You think I'm a dwarf who can't grow up?" Jay asked which now made Jake smile and form two dimples. Made Jake even more handsome when he smiled.
