The Birth of a Demon Lord

Labels affect people's lives in any world. As it turns out, being a demon brings a bunch of dangers. After his reincarnation the idea of being a demon didn't really bother Azemo, instead the reality of magic and fantasy occupied his thoughts. Gaining more power or a new technique was more important than learning about the war between demons, humans and beasts. Also he was reborn with modern day villains so being a demon was the least of his worries. At first it was like he was back at school, a school filled with violence and death but he was still learning stuff. However Azemo would be forced to learn about the gravity of being a demon when he ventured from the demon stronghold. Azemo did not have any grand goals or ideas but the world has a way of forcing troubles and tribulations upon beings.

Overconfidence

The Lightning Sword was enraged by the villager's words, but a look from the burly man calmed him down, so he only tersely said.

"Demon lord's forest? That is the territory of the Human Empire and we are going to take it back."

The villager just gestured to soldiers before ignoring the Lightning Sword's antics.

"Give me a few minutes, I am going to help the soldiers." The thin man spoke up, after all, he was the group's support and he knew some basic heal spells.

"They failed us, we don't have time to waste."

"Are you kidding me! You sent them in alone knowing they were up a powerful demon. We are not moving until you let him help." It seemed a little funny that the tiniest member of the party would threaten not to move, but they knew from experience she was difficult to budge. Even the massive muscles of the dagger carrying man were not enough to budge the heavy shield and the small woman.
